so I just purchased these for my 2008 JKU. with the brackets.... but I cannot mount my 4 point harnesses to them... the lap belt bolts, where they connect to the seat belt mount... just don't work. and of course there are no instructions! what do I do!
+TheDeekmaster All of the Corbeau brackets are designed so that the original seat belts can be used. In some cases, the OE seat belt attachment point is on the chassis, which means that the Corbeau bracket will not incorporate any mounting points. In other cases, the OE seat belt attachment point is on the OE bracket, which means that you will find a similarly-located mounting point on the Corbeau bracket. If your issue is with the OE seat belt mounting bolts not fitting the 4-point harness, then some modification might have to be made to the mounting plate on the harness or the bolt itself. In either case, it is critical that you proceed with caution and ensure that the solution will restrain your weight many times over in the event of a serious accident. Ultimately, a consumer's decision to buy, install, and use aftermarket harnesses is theirs alone. You can read Corbeau's disclaimer and limit of liability here: www.racing-seats-usa.com/disclaimer.html I hope that's helpful! luis flores Hello, this can be installed in a Jeep Wrangler. However, it's important to review the measurements and decide for yourself. You can find them by clicking on the "Dimensions" tab located below the images on our website: www.racing-seats-usa.com/corbeau-baja-xrs.html If you have additional questions, feel free to use our contact page on this same site. Thank you!
