hi, i have to revise some questions for a test and i cant figure out this one and its no where on the internet. What is the name given to the person responsible for rule enforcement?
Thanks Kris! We have these dense foam balls that have just the right amount of weight to them. When teaching in larger spaces (like when I'm outside), I've also used whiffle balls and tennis balls. Happy Teaching!
In the fourth build when the fielders can throw the ball at the players to get them out. Can the fielders also throw the ball to the pitcher to get the runner out or can they only get out by being hit by the ball and if the runner gets home the ball is returned to the pitcher?
Hi Varina, the fielding players can definitely field the ball to the pitcher as well (the pitcher is a member of the fielding team in this build). If the runner gets home, the next player in the batting order steps up and the ball is returned to the pitcher. Hope that helps! Happy Teaching!
As always Joey, thank you. I have five lessons of Danish long ball to teach this half term and will be using these ideas.
Really great breakdown and explanation of the games! Thank You!!
