      Being brave is not hiding your fears, it's going through them, and fully acknowledging them. Basically, you cannot defeat something/someone, you do not fully understand.

      unfortunately the people can't make informed decisions about their countries foreign policy unless they know the true cost of war. it can be hard for soldiers to talk about, but it's important for civilians to hear specific information about war, we're too far removed from the death our nations cause across the globe, the brave men and women that see it with their own eyes are doing a service when they're willing to talk about that kind of thing. It has to be down to the individual soldiers because our governments don't respect us enough to be honest with us.

      Ant Middleton is in the top 3% hardest Men in the World.

      Rich P. If you speak English it can seem that way. Yet 20% of this country speaks French and no other language. Le Canada is a member of the francophonie as well as the Commonwealth and to succeed at the highest levels here you usually have to be at least somewhat bilingual. For a century Canada had a Britain fetish and now that has mostly fallen by the wayside. More to the point, we’ve had significant Scottish, Irish, and Scandinavian immigration waves, yet no lasting impact from the latter.

      So...is he any better than the guy who puts his family first, get any job he can in order to put food on the table and puts his family before himself and his ambitions? I like this guy Ant Middleton. But let's face it. He puts himself before his family...by his own admission. Now, next time you see that guy collecting refuse or stacking shevles...purely to put food on the table...and to keep his wife as comfortable as he can....perhaps you'll think...that guy is a hero!! Good on you Sir!! Some of the very best heros are people just doing what they can to provide for their families in an honest way.

    Iv tryed this with hights, this is my only fear, I’m not scared off dieing at all. So why am I scared off hight , it’s been there since a child. I can’t breath at all on a roller coaster, I make a funny noise like iv been winded. It jus doesn’t get it, I’m training to be a therapist so I know about desensitisation, iv tryed this and it hasn’t worked 😞

    • @lisacross964
      @lisacross964 3 роки тому

      If your only fear is heights then its simply a matter of knowing what helps/what doesn't ,mindfulness is something that works for some not for others, fealing , knowing ,understanding, control , triggers, fight or flight, all have one thing in common and that's breathing , honestly not being funny but you have a long way to go and one hell of a mountain to climb in which you'll continue to struggle massively unnecessarily due to the way its contribution to your mental health, adapt and overcome a state of mind .
      Training to be a therapist you know about desensitisation, know is one thing understanding then actioning completely different , Benzodiazepine is a drug that can help anxiety disorder ect also VR is something that can help massively improve your fear and therapist to help,.
      Dig in never give in turn your many of negative experiences that have worn you down over the years around and drive you fwd ,confidence will build ,power and strength to overcome and succeed starts when you say enough is enough and start to be more positive a battle that Ive personally have to deal with everyday,anxiety depression is ,hard ,horrible and so tiring, good days bad days long rd which you'll fall in to potholes every now and then difference will be you'll know how to deal with it better and control things ,fear isn't neg fear is positive .
      Wish you well, don't try so hard , reset button, start with breathing exercises and be the client, get a therapist and try Benzodiazepine two-fourweek course.
