Final Fight for the SNES. Excellent choice. I like how one guy can take on a army of bad guys. I do like the enemy design and the various levels you travel. In the 16-bit era, beat up games on home consoles feel like you are playing at the arcade. Thanks for picking this one.
Great arcade feel to this one. Beatemup games found a nice home on the SNES. I always found myself popping this one into the console after deliberating on what game to play next. I just like the comfort of it.
This has held up surpassingly well. Capcom was the pinnacle of fighting games in the 90s. I never understood why they didn't have the bandwidth to include Guy and you could only get him in the CD version.
Not sure, but I do remember feeling slightly cheated when I saw he wasn’t included. But as you said, it holds up and the step up from the NES was enough to soften the blow.
@@richlong4119 turtles in time is perhaps the best of this genre. I haven’t finished Castlevania 4 but I loved all of the NES ones. Looking forward to that.
"There's Cody, that's Jessica's girlfriend." Is that right? 😅 Very interesting to see the SNES games start popping up on the channel. As always, excellent walkthrough!
This game is a gem and a first year release. Glad I got this game and 2. Even though there’s ports of this game everywhere but the snes is good as it is despite it being 1 player.
You can do the infinite punch with Cody. If you rapidly punch an enemy and turn you will gain a frame advantage and can continue punching, you will reset the counter and thus infinitely attack the enemy. *If the enemy allows it, some enemies can still counter with their mechanics.
@@The_Gamer.139 yes I used to do two punches and then miss with the third, then hit enemies two more times. You’re saying one hit, turn, one more hit, turn, and repeat?
Oh who cares that guy doesn't matter let him stay locked up for another half an hour... The police will be here by then and there are *two* dead bodies in the STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always cracks me up how streets of rage was almost a carbon copy of this game loved that series though never really played this i was more of a genesis fan growing up.
@@andrewslone very very similar all the way down to the enemy types. This was the SNES gamer’s closest thing to SOR. I actually like that series much more than final fight except for the first game in each.
Almost forgot, even though this wouldn't;t be for the reviews, check out Final Fight Revival of Rage. It's Final Fight w/ Street Fighter characters from Alpha.

The term you're looking for is molotov cocktails for Hollywood. Great vid as usual my guy!
My gosh I struggled so stinking hard on that one.
Thanks for watching! Keep an eye out too - gonna be doing some live walkthroughs on YT soon enough!

Does anyone have a better technique for Abigail? I’m completely lost on him…
I think I remember doing standing jump kicks if you don't have any room when he charges; been a while though.
