Dont say that the con is learning Russian language as the very people that want to go to Russia like myself wants to be in a country that keeps and respects their values and culture . It is NOT a con. Im happily learning Russian now. I dont feel like America is my country anymore.

@deborahthompson6248 Thank you for sharing your perspective, Deborah! You're absolutely right-embracing the local language and culture is a huge part of the experience, especially when moving to a country like Russia that deeply values its traditions. It’s wonderful to hear that you’re happily learning Russian! I mentioned language as a potential challenge for those who might find it difficult, but for many like yourself, it’s an exciting part of the journey. Wishing you all the best in your transition to a place where you feel more at home

No. But there are other options. Maybe will be a Programm inside BRICS countries.

Hi @shivarnm! Great question! India isn't included in the current Shared Values Visa, but there are certainly discussions about options within the BRICS framework. It’ll be interesting to see how this evolves! Thanks for your comment!

Fact: ONLY Russian born citizens can be conscripted - it is in the Russian Federation constitution. However, you CAN (gender/age appropriate) join as a mercenary & fight on behalf of Russia, as a foreigner.
