So much going on in Russia from the science to tech to business. As one person there said, “Eurasia is the future”. I’m not 20 or interested in a big career, but still it was exciting to see. I’m very interested in the nature and the Orthodox churches and just experiencing the culture. It’s been 8 years since I studied Russian so perhaps I will try again.

If I wanted to take a guided tour in Russia, specifically of Moscow and St. Petersburg, are there any reliable companies willing to show an American around in English? All the tour companies have extremely outdated websites, likely due to the draconian sanctions that the US Führer imposed.
Hey there. If you wanted, you'd look it up on the internet. The outdated websites you mentioned seem suspicious, but the locals can call the company in question to learn more about the company itself and their services.
There are many tour operators still registered, like my own but are not active because almost all the tourists now are internal. But even those without updated web sites can arrange a tourist invitation free if you use their services but charge $10-20 for invitations if you do not use their services. There are many tourist here in St Petersburg but most are Russian from other regions.
Every tour operator website will have a MBT number usually at the bottom of the page and you can look up that number on the web sire for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their status will be displayed
Russian migration law is in the process of changing. Soon, an option of Residency visa will be available. One can get it in Russian Embassy. This visa is for multiple employement in Russia. From this visa one can apply for a Foreigner's residency permit after 6 months of working in Russia legally (if your profession is from the List of the most needed in 2024). One can apply for himself and his family. But u'll have to pass Residency tests: medical, language, history and law basics.
Daniel I’m on the 3 year multiple entry visa. My understanding is there has been a law change that now requires if you stay past 90 days, you must go to the police station and give your fingerprints and other biometrics. Previously, you could stay up to 180 days without having to leave the country or provide additional biometrics. Is this your understanding?

Daniel your lawyer friend just confirmed what I was telling you. You must go and provide blood test, fingerprints and other biometrics if you stay over 90 days at any one time period
I got an International Driving Permit a few years ago. In the US you can get one from AAA for a small fee or free if you are a member of AAA. Basically, it is a translation of your information on your driver's license in several languages.
This was great, One of my biggest concerns that I can't seem to get answers from anyone is about dealing with American banking systems if moving to Russia. I heard that US bank cards do not work in Russia, nor can you do a wire transfer into Russia. Are people using something like Charles Schwab ? Or a bank in Poland ? Also how can anyone obtain their Social Security later in life once it's time for that. I also read that Russia offers permanent residency if you show you're bringing in 100k into their economy ? If I was you I’d contact the people I talked to in the video. The first link I put is the one to their direct line. They can answer your questions and help with moving the money you mentioned can totally count as investment if you buy a home and land and you can obtain the residency and citizenship with time. Hey Dan, I have been living in Vladivostok for almost 5 years now on 3 year tourist visas and my current visa ends in a year.. My question for Braiden is; Do I have to go back to the states to get another 3 year visa or can this be done at any Russian embassy or consulate? Websites say a 3 year visa must be done in your home country and I don't know if this information is accurate or not.. I f I can avoid it, I really don't want to go back to the states. Semper Fi.
He mentioned in the video that short term visas must be renewed in home country. But you should contact them to see how you can maybe apply for residency.

Hello Daniel, I have dual nationality from the US and from a visa-free country. According to US laws, I have to leave and enter the US with my US passport. However, when I enter Russia, I will have to show both passports. Are you aware of anyone with dual citizenship visiting Russia?

FYI- I contacted Ontario Canada Russian consulate and they could only offer a one year tourist visa. I guess the rules changed. No more 3 year tourist visa.

Finding someone to marry as a citizen of another country in Russia will not be difficult, but of course you will need language skills to work in Russia. I think one good option for you is private language lessons. Moreover, not a few rich people would be happy to have a native English speaker as a babysitter for their children. But keep in mind that these are just my assumptions as a Russian resident. As for farming and a milder climate - check out the southern cities. Krasnodar Krai, Astrakhan Oblast and Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (if you prefer mountains).

If the type of disease is rare and there are no Russian analogs on the market, there may be problems with buying medicines. There are also some problems with the medicines for pets. This does not apply to farm animals.
Firstly, there are many analogues of medicines, and secondly, in Kazakhstan, for example, there are already companies that will order you any drug or some product and send it to Russia.

Yes, Jamaican passport gets visa free Russian access but only up to 90 days per calendar year, after 90 days, you have to apply for visa to stay longer until the new calendar year comes to start over.

The hospitals are at par with most of the hospitals you’ll find in cities like Los Angeles and New York the buildings are old… but they have capabilities that normal countries have. Ksenia broke her leg in Turkey we arrived to Russia and she was taken care of immediately
our hospitals, especially private owned, are really nice, and you may be operated in the same exact day, you don't have to make an appointment in months 😕
I wouldn't want to buy a property of any sort in such a politically unstable country. The rules can be changed by the government at any stage and I would feel vulnerable in Russia.
Over the entire period after the USSR, the policies of Yeltsin or Putin were different, but there were no significant changes in the rules regarding property. Theoretically, the communists could change this if they came to power, but this is completely impossible, they are gone forever.

Hey there. If you wanted, you'd look it up on the internet. The outdated websites you mentioned seem suspicious, but the locals can call the company in question to learn more about the company itself and their services.
There are many tour operators still registered, like my own but are not active because almost all the tourists now are internal. But even those without updated web sites can arrange a tourist invitation free if you use their services but charge $10-20 for invitations if you do not use their services. There are many tourist here in St Petersburg but most are Russian from other regions.
Every tour operator website will have a MBT number usually at the bottom of the page and you can look up that number on the web sire for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their status will be displayed

Russian migration law is in the process of changing. Soon, an option of Residency visa will be available. One can get it in Russian Embassy. This visa is for multiple employement in Russia. From this visa one can apply for a Foreigner's residency permit after 6 months of working in Russia legally (if your profession is from the List of the most needed in 2024). One can apply for himself and his family. But u'll have to pass Residency tests: medical, language, history and law basics.

Daniel I’m on the 3 year multiple entry visa. My understanding is there has been a law change that now requires if you stay past 90 days, you must go to the police station and give your fingerprints and other biometrics. Previously, you could stay up to 180 days without having to leave the country or provide additional biometrics. Is this your understanding?

I got an International Driving Permit a few years ago. In the US you can get one from AAA for a small fee or free if you are a member of AAA. Basically, it is a translation of your information on your driver's license in several languages.

This was great, One of my biggest concerns that I can't seem to get answers from anyone is about dealing with American banking systems if moving to Russia. I heard that US bank cards do not work in Russia, nor can you do a wire transfer into Russia. Are people using something like Charles Schwab ? Or a bank in Poland ? Also how can anyone obtain their Social Security later in life once it's time for that. I also read that Russia offers permanent residency if you show you're bringing in 100k into their economy ? Is that true ? Thanks again

They can answer your questions and help with moving the money you mentioned can totally count as investment if you buy a home and land and you can obtain the residency and citizenship with time. Hey Dan, I have been living in Vladivostok for almost 5 years now on 3 year tourist visas and my current visa ends in a year.. My question for Braiden is; Do I have to go back to the states to get another 3 year visa or can this be done at any Russian embassy or consulate? Websites say a 3 year visa must be done in your home country and I don't know if this information is accurate or not.. I f I can avoid it, I really don't want to go back to the states. Semper Fi.
He mentioned in the video that short term visas must be renewed in home country. But you should contact them to see how you can maybe apply for residency.

You’d need to bring cash, but you can’t legally stay to live come as a tourist… Americans can stay up to 6 months enough time for you to figure things out. .

Hello Daniel, I have dual nationality from the US and from a visa-free country. According to US laws, I have to leave and enter the US with my US passport. However, when I enter Russia, I will have to show both passports. Are you aware of anyone with dual citizenship visiting Russia?

I contacted Ontario Canada Russian consulate and they could only offer a one year tourist visa. I guess the rules changed. No more 3 year tourist visa.

Finding someone to marry as a citizen of another country in Russia will not be difficult, but of course you will need language skills to work in Russia. I think one good option for you is private language lessons. Moreover, not a few rich people would be happy to have a native English speaker as a babysitter for their children. But keep in mind that these are just my assumptions as a Russian resident.
As for farming and a milder climate - check out the southern cities. Krasnodar Krai, Astrakhan Oblast and Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (if you prefer mountains).

Yes, Jamaican passport gets visa free Russian access but only up to 90 days per calendar year, after 90 days, you have to apply for visa to stay longer until the new calendar year comes to start over.

Obtaining health care in Russia would concern me. If you are injured or ill I don't like the look of the hospitals.
The hospitals are at par with most of the hospitals you’ll find in cities like Los Angeles and New York the buildings are old… but they have capabilities that normal countries have. Ksenia broke her leg in Turkey we arrived to Russia and she was taken care of immediately
our hospitals, especially private owned, are really nice, and you may be operated in the same exact day, you don't have to make an appointment in months 😕

I wouldn't want to buy a property of any sort in such a politically unstable country. The rules can be changed by the government at any stage and I would feel vulnerable in Russia.
Over the entire period after the USSR, the policies of Yeltsin or Putin were different, but there were no significant changes in the rules regarding property. Theoretically, the communists could change this if they came to power, but this is completely impossible, they are gone forever.
The rules changed for major companies not small owners. I think you forgot that Russian assets were stolen by the west
