There are people that have been trying to make it in music for years and crickets. Kali releases one mixtape and she blows up. I think a mix of talent, authenticity, and bringing something new to the table is the differentiator here.

Yes the engineer / producer should have told the hosts to tell Kali to be stationary. Kali was a vibrant and engaging subject, the tech crew should have caught all that.

No matter how racist this sounds to minds in this current society. It’s racist to allow, or disallow any race to say or not say or do anything, including saying the n word. It’s not popular to say this, but it’s fair and right.
Dee Gee I entirely disagree with that statement being right. Define right, maybe that would help. Is right 'just' to you? How is it racist? Define racist? And when I ask you to define these words I mean beyond the dictionary definition, what do they mean to you? Words have dictionary definitions, but also working, functioning definitions.
I'll give you an example of what I mean:
In 2013, dictionaries like Merriam-Webster, a well respected dictionary publishing company, added another definition to the word literally. This definition indicated that the word 'literally' doesn't have to mean literally. Because it's everyday use deviated from the dictionary's definition they changed it. I say that to say the dictionary doesn't always follow what 'you' mean
MIent1313 the words mean to me what they’re defined to mean in the dictionary. I’m not trying to create a secret code. Plain English as most understand it is my goal in this communication. Racism as I understand it, is to draw lines between ppl based on race, and then add in negative or positive commentary about a particular race that’s been divided from the others or other. It’s racist for me to say that black ppl dance well. Just as it’s racist for me to say that white ppl have no rhythm. The truth or positivity in each comment is completely irrelevant in considering whether it is or isn’t racist. By “right” I obviously don’t mean directionally. I’m not speaking metaphorically. By “right” I mean what is factual and correct. You can even add in a moral twist and say that it coincides with Gods will, or what is morally and ethically right for humanity. But I mainly mean what is correct and true for everyone involved, by dictionary definitions of each word.
It’s racist to say that anyone cannot do something based solely on their race. The more we do that, the more we perpetuate racism.
