YOOOOOO I’m actually so freakin excited!!!!!! I literally started building this about a month ago and so far I’ve completed all the videos you’ve posted. Im so lucky I started making this at the right time! Since then I’ve made the abs and half of the back myself so I still have the arms, legs, pelvic region, and like half the back. I realized your templates made life so much easier so tysm Im actually so hyped now thank you 🙏🙏🙏
The template is good, but you can't walk, run, or jump in these. I made the BODY in thick paper (230gsm) and layered the inside with four to five more layers of the scrapped paper. (Don't waste scrapped paper) The layering of paper is to add strength to the structure Also I used Dalilomo's paper hardening method by applying several coatings of water-glue mixture. (Dalilomo used this on an Iron Man helmet about ten years ago.) Drying it about two hours before the next coating application. Rinse the brush every after use or you'll end up with a stiff applicator brush and get a new one. Then the HEELS and TOES are made of layered EVA Foam. It's like a solid block of Eva foam cut to size and glue them to the BODY. The bottom of the TOE is solidly connected to the HEEL. The front and top of the TOE is added separately to front of the BODY. Also, I lined the insides with EVA Foam to make it softer upon wearing them. Coated all external sides (cardboard and eva foam) with several coatings again of water-glue mixture. Then spray paint it with red. NOTE: EVA FOAM doesn't react well with paint so applying water-glue mixture is necessary before painting. After drying, you can now use it for walking, running, and jumping.
I made the helmet from your template and it was absolutely awesome and cool , I was so happy when i finally completed it thank you it's like a dream came true for me to wear iron man helmet , looking forward to your next iron man projects and i would make this boots absolutely in the christmas . ❣️
Hi, this is so awesome and appreciate all the work! I see you also put good effort to teach people how to scale pint the papers. But after viewing you bloger and links I think it's hard to find the original size of the design for scaling. So far I found the size states in comments and in videos but I only found Head = 180mm and full body hight = 6ft (182cm) . If I may give some suggestions. A) list all original size in one page. B) state original measurement in each pdf, for example arm piece for xx cm arm, chest piece for xx cm chest size. so that people can scale by themself easier and you'd have peace of mind from answering all the sizing questions. Thanks again for sharing this project!
i'm doing all this by myself & on my own time, 80% of my time preparing & testing template, i think least people can do is figured it out how to print, once. if you seriously want to help maybe you can write a wikipedia for me "dalilomo" or on reddit, i seriously no time to go back & measure all my project & list it down for 301 people watching, hope you understand ;)
I was planning to make Wolverine claws but there is a problem in the template website, it's asking for permission or something please can you give is the link for the template i want to make them before my holidays get over , i am making the metal ones with thin aluminium sheets that are easy to cut , please help me out with the template problem.
Hello, does anyone know if the template of the free shoe if such a caul is printed on an A4 sheet, would it be ready to cut or do you have to resize the pieces in some way? I would appreciate it if someone did it with the free pdf to tell me since I need it urgently for a project and I can't afford it
