Eduardo, first I want to thank you, and Bianca, for making your videos in english. I really appreciate it. You really hit home on the topic about our work not looking exactly like the designers. Comparing it to playing the guitar was brilliant. I never thought of it that way! You're right! Crochet is an ART! It's not a recipe. GOOD ADVICE! Stuffing! Yeah, I have made round heads when they should be square. But that is where the practice comes in. It took me 3 times to do Mario to my likeing. LOL And one last thing, I LOVE YOUR POCKETBOOK!

Another thought about crochet being an art. I have a friend who always tells me how creative I am. And I keep telling her, I'm not! I don't design the things I make. I only copy the pattern. So you got me thinking she is right after watching your video. And crocheting is also very scientific like making a cake. You have your ingredients (yarn, stitch markers, counting!, following steps in order, etc.) but you also have your style (loose or tight stitching, placement of eyes, color choices, type of yarn, etc.) So thank you! I am talented! LOL So the nextt time my girlfriend tells me how good I am, I am going to accept the complement and thank her.

Oh yeah!!!! Team Stitch Marker! I just purchased the ones Bianca was showing and I LOVE THEM! I do try to use the yarn, but get confuse where the stitch is (don't ask, it's a mental thing), so stitch marker for me. BUT if it comes to thick yarn or furry yarn, I find the yarn works well.

Hey mary! Oh, I am so happy you enjoyed it! It is a nice comparison indeed, because it is all art, and sometimes we forget it. We want everything to be perfect and we simply forget how much it demands from us. When we see things from other perspectives (like playing a musical instrument for example), we realize that it takes time, and the way one person plays a song is always different from when another person plays the same song.

I am sure your friend is right! When talking about creativity, we always have this tendency to think that we are not creative enough, but we are. The moment you are crocheting another person's pattern, you are working on your skills. And you instinctively adapt one thing here and there to your style or the material you have at home, so again, you are using your creativity. YOU ARE TALENTED! Believe me! 🥰

They are good, aren't they? The moment I started using them was a game-changer for me! they don't open the stitches, and it is super nice that it comes in different sizes as well!
