Yes, the lining was 2-way stretch, the curtain wasn't. That made it more difficult as the lining looses it's stretch when you sew a non-stretchy fabric on it.. x
It was, but if you don't have the fabric yet, I would definitely recommend getting stretchy chiffon fabric :) that makes it a lot easier to work with and it would be easier to dance in :D otherwise make sure to have an adjustable closure (e.g. elastic) and leave some room for movement :)
This is amazing but please please can you do a slower tutorial? It's too fast and I can't seem to get a lot of things even after slowing down the speed.
@@recreatefulchannel thank you so much for considering it! Please try making slower tutorials for any other UA-cam tutorial project that you'll come up with in the future, because I like the way you explain 😁 I'll surely ask you questions if I make this dress though !
This tutorial was beautiful! And I loved that you used a curtain to make this dress! I can’t wait to try this! 💜
Thank you so much! 😍 I would love to see your result if you'd like to share it with me! 😍❤️️
Wow - This turned out so pretty! ♥️ Nice tutorial!
thank you so much! ❤️❤️
you're the best i love love this tutorial
aww this means so much to me! Thank you so much! This makes me really happy :)
Please if you can explain more how you did the ruched it would be nice
Thank you so much for the tutorial ❤❤
It's one row of basting stitch all along the bit you want to ruche and then pull on the thread :) ❤️❤️
Hey ! Can you tell what was the outer fabric that you used ?
Sure :) I used an old organza curtain. If you do buy the fabric I would recommend to go for a stretchy mesh instead though :)
Girl thank you!❤
you are very welcome! thank you! :) ♡
How did u attack the sleeves
I just stitched them to the side of the dress :) ❤️
How did you know how much fabric to add for the length?
I just guessed roughly :)
I like the video
I am glad you do :)
Please, was the lining stretchy?

Thank you so much. Was it still comfortable to wear after the stretch was gone?

Thank you! I'm sorry it's to fast for you! I probably won't do another video but feel free to ask me any questions :)
