As a late nineties/early 00's user, I have a question to ask: most of those dark web sites were simply normal sites back then. All the grotesque shit and shady services were out in the open. When did they become "dark web" and/or an exclusivity of onion or i2p networks and why?

Ngl the fake money thing is a very charming idea. Imagine just wearing shades, hopping on a scooter to go to a small, faraway store you never visit and attempt paying. If they bust you, just calmly leave and ride off, privacy mostly preserved, small scooters dont even need plates, extremely tiny chance of getting caught later
I'm from Poland and let me tell you, all these prices in dollars make me feel miserable! Our currency is so weak. Most of the people only earn 500-700$/month, working full time etc. I would have to work for a few years to afford the cheapest hitman xD

i love watching videos like these hence I've had my own history with experiences from the dark web, and to be honest, 95 percent of the dark web are simply online forums, useless websites (some made to intentionally scare newbies with obvious and very easy to find links such as on the hidden wiki) and simply scam websites (and many many illegal dealing websites of course). However if you dig deep enough (and i mean a very tiring process of searching and visiting links and trying to find a search engine that actually makes the link show) you get to see the very part of the iceberg that usually stays hidden, even in videos like these. A good point to make is, these authentic, disturbing websites that are actually real, never stay up for long, by which i mean a few days max. before the website and link simply get changed so that it doesn't get traced. That was the part about the dark web that initially scared me the most. There are authentic and disturbing websites, however finding them won't do much, they change up so quickly because they know that these things will get them behind bars, but this part simply persists eventhought it's barely visible.

The deep web and the dark web are two separate things. The deep web is anything you can't find on a search engine, like a database. The dark web, however, requires you to use a specific browser to access it.

Javascript enabled is a bad thing this mean the website is executing javascripts into your browser which means it can access your other websites cookies, steal them, and access your accounts and stuff but replacing theirs by yours. Luckily you were using a private window which doesn't have these cookies linked to it.

Tor and the dark web is legal cause all the software is open source and people host tor relays on their own computers for tor users to visit, due to encryption its impossible to limit the visiting of dark web sites, however, if people are not careful and you do something illegal and your personal information gets out you will get caught

Tor and the dark web is legal cause all the software is open source and people host tor relays on their own computers for tor users to visit, due to encryption its impossible to limit the visiting of dark web sites, however, if people are not careful and you do something illegal and your personal information gets out you will get caught
