I feel like Queen Reba will adopt Jackson to be a surrogate grandkid and mentor him way after the show is over💗. He has such a beautiful, clean, traditional country voice that can only improve with hard work. Glad to see Reba getting the respect she deserves. This lady is a Dolly level icon!
Reba is a LEGEND. She commands so much respect. She's so humble that she's really bringing out the best in everyone including her fellow coaches. They've got to step.up.their game to compete with her. 😊
I'm on the higher end of the Autism Spectrum and have Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy as well and to see someone else who has Autism go on The Voice and get NOT 1 but 2 chairs is AMAZING! Congratulations Jackson!❤
I’ve been wanting another Kirk Jay on this show. Seeing a black person sing country is so great to see!! It shows that music is truly changing stereotypes
As a classic country music fan, he has the perfect country voice. Stick to the actual roots of country music, don't let the music producers and writers sway you!
Him and his brother and mom were so disappointed that he didn’t get the golden ticket on American idol but look at him now. Him and his family are so happy. Sending Jackson love from a student pilot on the autism spectrum ❤
My dude literally sounds like who he is covering, that's a voice for radio if I've ever heard one and I've been listening to country all my life for 34 years now. That's a stadium voice
Never heard this song before (not a big country music fan) but he sang the hell out of this song!! Beautiful peaceful voice!! Loved it!! Plus the shout out to autism awareness-good on him for that!! No shame!! I’m a fan!!
Just watching Jackson's audition on demand and immediately was amazed. Not only was I very moved by his story, but when he started to sing, I was blown away. I sure hope he does very well on The Voice, and in life in general.
Sometimes its not about not liking it. if legend were to turn around how would he convinced him to pick him? doesn't make sense, its not part of his skillset to teach country. If you have two experienced country coach why bother turn. Legend did turned around a few years back on a country audition, he pitched and it looks so awkward. It's part of self branding too, don't wanna look like you can teach all of it.
Im still sad blake had to leave the voice but i know blake had to because he had other things to do like making more songs and other stuff @sonofasinner86
He will continue to sing and touch hearts with his music. Reba will guide him to win this whole thing and become a legend in country music. His voice is country all the way. Jackson keep kicking some butt and taking names. You are awesome brother. I will be watching you now and always. God bless you. Jackson you can do it. 👍👍👍
Wow, I really enjoyed his performance . He sounds really good . Love his stage presence and love how he really gets into his singing ! He’s sooooo good . I could see myself buying his record . His Dad would be so proud of him . The right song choice he picked for his vocals .
Tone! He’s gonna be a threat! He’s giving me Kirk Jay vibes just a bit. With the right songs that pull on America’s heartstrings, he can 100% win! He has such a storyteller voice! I don’t care what genre that song was, it was just beautiful!
When I first heard this it made me think of my great grandmother who after 92 passed away I thought I had been over this but when I heard him preform this song it put me immediately to tears
Wow absolutely fantastic brother. I'm from scottsburg Indiana,5 miles south of Austin. Brother you sound absolutely awesome, and I wish you the best of luck. Rock on 💪
OMG, I remember Jackson Snelling He was audition on American Idol Season 19 Sadly The Judges said No to Him, I'm not too sure Why??? But It's good to see Him again & When He sang ''If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away'' By Justin Moore's During His first blind audition of The Voice Tonight Wow I thought He did such A great & Amazing Job, He sound like He was singing from The heart, Telling A story too, I had to Put on My team app. Because He got such A great voice for country!!!
How can a guy like that, NOT choose Reba? Gwen has only recently joined the country community, (by marriage), LOL, but Miss Reba was literally BORN COUNTRY. I know that Gwen really does love the genre, but Ribo was a fantastic fit for this man. She’ll do him justice.
I love his voice...no seriously and I don't even listen to Country music....such a beautiful tone ..got me crying ❤..Please make a record would buy it in a heartbeat.
I knew I recognized him from something! He auditioned for American idol and didn’t go through.. I’m glad the voice is now giving him the opportunity! He’s amazing! Also when he talked about his epilepsy that was emotional because I have the same thing so I know what it’s like.. it’s hard but we fight
Hey Jackson, it’s Brooke from the doctors office in Jeffersonville. I just wanted to tell you I am so happy for you. Tell your mom I said hi and I wish you nothing but the best and I will be watching.
Such a great song to listen to and it was an amazing rendition of that song by Justin Moore, and he’s got a great range plus representing the autism community really well, I have autism myself and mine’s high functioning as well as Jackson and I’m a fan of his!
I came across this song in You Tube shorts. WOW!! What an amazing voice. I have listened to more of yours. Can’t believe The Voice or American Idol didn’t turn out. I hope you don’t give up! You are amazing!!
Thats my home town i dont know this kid but this is amazing!!! Gives me nostalgia remembering hearing stuff like this on the community channel before school everyday growing up he really sounds professional already i never would have thought id see anyone from austin on anything lol were so small and everyone from Austin knows there isnt much opportunity growing up so this is amazing and my brother is autistic and loves this music this just all brings a tear to my eye
A young man with autism dazzled the judges on The Voice with his stunning voice as he performed a country music hit in memory of his late father. Death and losing a loved one, especially someone as close as a parent, is and always will be difficult. It’s a loss that will forever and always sting. No one will be able to fill the role of a loving, caring parent. Yes, the passage of time makes life a little more bearable after a loss, but the absence of that person will always be noticeable and felt. Jackson Snelling knows what it means to lose a parent and the hurt that comes with such a monumental loss. The 21-year-old from a small town in Indiana stepped onto The Voice stage and sang Justin Moore’s “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” His audition on the popular singing show, according to NBC, was meant to honor and make his late father proud. Judging from the wild, overwhelming positive reaction from the studio audience and how the judges heaped praise on him, he did that. Seconds into his performance, Gwen Stefani had heard enough. She immediately hit her button, turning her chair around for the young country crooner. Then, 20 or 30 seconds later, the program’s country music artist, Reba McEntire, had been won over. She also turned her chair around for Jackson. It became clear very early who Jackson was likely to select as his coach. During the back-and-forth with the judges, Jackson admitted that he grew up listening to the music of Reba McEntire. The young man from Indiana also mentioned that he has autism. He added that “being on the spectrum, music has helped” him in life. Reba gave Jackson a massive compliment, praising his singing ability, which put a huge smile on the young man’s face. “So country music is my life, my foundation,” Reba said. “So, to hear you come on The Voice and sing like you did today, I am just so proud to be in the country music business and proud that you’re representing us.” Gwen gave Jackson her sales pitch, trying to convince him to join her team. But in the end, Jackson chose Reba as his coach and mentor on the show. Psalm 105:2 “Let your voice be sound in songs and melody; let all your thoughts be of the wonder of his works.”
Jackson was amazing! Best rendition of this song I've heard so far on this show honestly. Great song for him and he chose a great coach! He's got a lot of soul and emotions in his voice as well. He was also pitch perfect throughout. Flawless performance! I loved everything about it.
😅😂🎉😊I have always believed that music 🎶 is ✨️ heaven's language to heal and inspire ✨️ . This guy is living proof of that! I am so excited 😊 that Reba 😍 is his coach, l can't wait to see what happens with him🎉🎉😊😊❤❤
I love jackson his voice is like magic & love his stage presence & plus representing the autism community really well i have autism as well i'm high functioning as well can't wait to see more of his perfomances
As a fellow Autistic im rooting for Jackson and not for our shared disability im also high functioning but god damn that voice. Would really love to hear him sing some Garth, Travis Trit, Allan Jackson, or hell Jelly Roll.
To see him go from singing at the piano in choir class, to on the voice stage is so wild. So proud of you, Jackson! AUSTIN LOVES YOU SO MUCH!
Represents our tiny town here in Indiana so well

You could tell Reba was just listening towards the beginning and enjoying it. This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written imo
