For some reason, the shot of Thomas' face after he's crashed through the station master's house has always unnerved me, it really just puts a Not Good feeling in me, same with Duck in A Close Shave, the closeup-ness of the faces and the wide eyes (and even when Thomas is being pulled out of the wreckage by Donald & Douglas, the way his wheels don't turn and is almost forced out of the house), it almost scares me, it's reall weird and I don't know why

In Thomas comes to breakfast it has a strikingly similar story to another real life event in Australia where an S class diesel locomotive ran through a building and came out the front door
I love the interview with Mitton, where he says that the engines, even though they’re just mechanical models, have personality’s, as if they’re alive. I’m not surprised at all that Gordon isn’t a morning person while Thomas and Percy are

The tank you gave as an example in the Thumper part, I'll explain it. The tank you shown is a Kliment Voroshilov, or KV for short. If you know any tanks with those 2 words, it's the KV-2. So that tank you shown is a Kliment Voroshilov 1, or KV-1.
@TrainBoy there was a similar accident to Thomas Comes To Breakfast in the US with the Rio grand '491' the K37 class of steam loco had its regulator improperly sealed and the Rio stored its loco's under pressure so 491 just rolled out of it's shed at 2 am and rolled into the yard but luckily there was a derail devise at the end of the yard and 491 just chuffed in the dirt for awhile till the crew got there at 4 am.
