I feel like the answer to almost every lower body problem in your videos is doing squats with a resistance band. I guess really strong, stable hips and glutes fixes a lot of things
It's almost like the tens of thousands of years of human evolution/mutation & mating with the most desirable mutations wouldn't lead to shitty glutes and hips but rather than genetics/nature issue but rather a nurture issue where you sit and lay down all the time and basically using a brace all day every day for your legs and hips and butt leading to weak muscle or even atrophy
Because he cant anything else ,well so it seems .we never see the whole investigation ,its just trying some stuff and hopefully it works... He never look after the back and rotation issues or after the feets. It never does matter why they got their problems .
@@benjaminbradley780 Like it is their job to sit in front of a computer so I don't blame them if their employers give no alternatives but motorized standing desks and even slow treadmills can at least preserve most muscles except maybe hips if they don't have good form...
@@meh6513 we both know that, for most people, even if their employers provided the option of standing desks, most of them would choose to continue to sit
Hey man, I know this isnt what you normally do, but could you do a "construction series"? Personally, Im an electrician so i do a lot of shoveling and my knee hurts, so do my elbows sometimes. I often have to work hinged forward at the waist and thats killer! I'm on the mend from my 3 bulging disks thanks to you! That "abdominal pressure" thing you taught me is a miracle! I think a lot of us watching aren't athletes, and I bet you have a huge blue collar fanbase. Would love to see you teach more natural movements ❤❤
I was a tape and mudder for years. The freaking angles we'd have to be in with banjos, then to sand that dried mud down sometimes was completely insane. Often on stilts, no less. If you meet an older tape and mudder, they're usually a brute of a human with gorilla arms and many strange neck problems.
Look at some of the scapular mobility/strength videos, and also videos similar to this on hip mobility. Specifically internal and external rotation/stability. I'm guessing the pain is on your dominant side. Elbow pain comes from the radialus weakness, or it's on the other side and you have to address weakness in your pinky. Sounds funny but that was my problem. Now the knee, might have issues with the vmo, hip stabilization, or even the way your feet are positioned. It's a lot I know. A good place to start is the above mentioned, then add those drills to Turkish Getups. Stabilization is the key
this is gonna help, but also do leg swings and other mobility exercices, it helped me also increasing the wideness of your foot may help, search for butt wink
I injured the crap out of my hip flexor trying to lift in a more narrow stance years ago and it took so much work to get to some kind of mobility again. I really appreciate this drill!
This is exactly what I needed been having hip flexor pain on heavy compound lifts and my quads weren’t being stimulated enough because of it. Life saver !
I find since stretching and strengthening my core and hips, I just do not fall down, despite tripping or sliding. But my hips are able to allow my legs to do the splits and doing squats and hip thrusts and crunches and planks keep me upright. I just feel so much more balanced and sturdy on my feet. Strength training and stretching changed my entire life.
The is hugely, wonderfully helpful. Thank you for this man. I've had the same issue for a while now. It's great to know something to help with the issue
Can you please make a video/multiple videos on the top 5 mobility/flexibility/etc movements that everyone should do that are good at preventing problems from arising? Just overall movements for good fitness health!
My leg raises used to cramp up and hurt my hip flexors, it didn’t feel like muscle pain it felt like pain pain, but as I think I got stronger the pain went away completely
It would be great id you could include a tineline for your videos. Like how long did it take Robert to reach each step? Was it all in one day? Etc.. I am in the same boat and this would help a lot!
This is something I should give this a try. Love this channel has helped me soooo much. Now to strengthen these muscles, then it will be all just progression from here 😎.
I pulled my right hip flexor, took 8 months to heal. Had to wear a wrap in order to perform any exercises. Did banded squats because that was the only thing I could tolerate, lunges were out of the question. I slowly added weight over time. Im completely healed thankfully but have incorporated hip flexor exercises and stretches into my routinue.
I do knee ups with the cable machine, I'm up to 30lbs. I went on a deep dive on how to train all of the muscles of the hips which seems very neglected in weightlifting. I highly recommend adding a piriformis exercise as well (it's generally about rotation and perhaps the banded exercise you show here touches on it).
omg my hip flexors are such a mess. i’ve been through so much but they always get injured and always have pain. just raising my left one is so tough and so painful
I tried this the other day before doing goblet squats (my knees tend to hurt a lot when I squat and only one of my hip flexors have really bad pain) and not only was I able to do my goblet squats I was able to to my glute cable exercises with 0 discomfort. Thank you❤
It's really that the pelvic floor helps with so many things. A lot of people neglect their pelvic floor which holds together so many of the muscles in the core area. When those muscles get weak they start to loosen and stretch and the surrounding muscles have to compensate for the weakness in a way they weren't designed for which starts to injure them and cause pain.
I am experiencing some what similar. I play football (soccer) every weekend. I have been weight lifting and training for three years now. In one of the matches, I experienced a shad sharp pain in my right hip flexor. It felt like a muscle pull. I stretched it and it fell a little better. But as soon as I kicked the ball, I could feel the same pain again and couldn’t move the leg further. When I try to move my leg across the body, it doesn’t pain but when I take it to the other side it does.
My hip flexor is so tight. My physical therapists have done a lot for me but its so damn tight. The only time its not hurting is when i am walking so now i just walk a lot more all day. Will give this a try for sure.
I like that Aaron generally very serious man said "your damm hipflexors" 😂
Hilarious 😂😂
That makes it even more serious
lol
Yes! Cracked me up too. 😂
what if it caused that goddammit pain?

So true
I work warehouse job
Kneesovertoesguy has lots of videos about fixing knee and elbow pain. I got rid of my knee pain thanks to him.
train your posterior chain 2 or 3 times as much as your front. you are already doing physical labor that involves alot of your front muscles.

Assuming you are saying the pain is in the high inner thigh... Then that's exactly my symptom as well. Ima try this
I'l say it's more in the waistline/ pelvis
lmk if it works
this is gonna help, but also do leg swings and other mobility exercices, it helped me

Inner thigh pain sounds like you need to do some groin stretching.
@@thebigdezshow8971 i dont have pain in my inner thigh or my legs so i wouldnt know if this works or not bro
Oh my gosh I been dealing with hip instability for like half my life and I’m 26…. Cause me so much pain… hallelujah.
clamshells. side lying leg lifts.

This was the best video I’ve ever seen for the hip flexors. Thank you. I really needed this 🙏🏾
Man you are fixing all my body’s ailments!
I wanna thank you because i did that squat band exercise and it really makes my knees feel better especially when im walking stairs
This instructor is tier 1 and a legend .
All posts are always great
Used this today during my prehab set prior to a leg sesh and it was exceptional. Hips were mobile and my range of motion improved. Much gratitude 💪☺️🤙

THANK YOU!!! My hip flexors ache from so many different exercises! I'll be implementing this in my warm-ups!
Brody had better mobility than me in the before. I need to get it together 😂
this is first time i'm openly admitting that i love another man... Aaron, I love you 🫶🏼

This is relevant. I just got back from the gym trying this and had a bit of a twinge. Looks like I need hip stability!
I wish I had someone like you around to train me! It would help a ton
You're so cool with all this knowledge you've got. What do I study to be this knowledgeable??
These videos.

I like the compassionate elastic bands because its attack is softer on ligaments and hardest on tendons. Godly idea to say the least.😮😮

Need that jersey Asap!
What jersey is that?
I need someone like this guy in my life. I have no idea what's up with my hip.
bro u r a god send
Sir, you are a magician.
Great video thanks
DAT BOIII SIPPP MADDDDD
I guess I need to train my hip flexor because I does really have discomfort on my hip the right side. I will train them and see what happens. thanks.
THANK YOU!
Bro you're the best 👌. Everything you say makes sense and is encouraging🤌
Needed this.
DEFINITELY GOING TO TRY THIS! I've had this exact pain since I tore the ACL on my opposing leg. The pain makes me walk with a limp now.
I'm saving this
I need this for my right shoulder
Actavis tee is crazy
Clearance!
Lesson learned for me: get resistance bands. I get the pains in the front upper thigh, and sides. I'm glad I found this
This is exactly what I’ve been studying with, trying it tonight
Needed that, I have same pain as Robert from childhood injury. Let you know soon if it works for me. Have done the lifts but not the other drills👍👊
I've got to admit, my hip flexors felt fine until I saw that video and started to "TRAIN MY DAMN HIP FLEXORS!"
I'll be trying this!
the actavis jersey is insane
How did the algorithm know I was experiencing hip pain. This came right on time 😅
That’s what my physio prescribed and it worked 🙌 plus I can run without pain now
I have had an injury with this problem whole playing soccer, been i Injured for 9 months and can barely move my right hip. Thanks man

Yup. Train them !! Didn’t train them until I didn’t P90x and Insanity Workouts a decade ago ! Workouts are golden
It really helps if you have a traumatic foot injury because that side's hip flexor gets crazy strong.
Like it! Going to give this a go!
Good stuff.
You are so much more legit than a chiropractor holy shit
Tighten that ace
Use the kettlebells to do kneeling windmills for hip training.
Can you do a video on pelvic floor please and thank you 😁
Good stuff! PSA, acrost is not a word, its across :)
I get that pain when I do the standard leg press... Especially with the legs open. But it doesn't happen when I deep squat.
What should I do if my knees crack just by squatting down? No pain but it's just annoying
Great advice. I learned the hard way until I got proper instruction.
I’m still looking 👀 for the kettle bells my foot will go into!! And I don’t have big feet 👣. Just using bands for now.
Sweetness😂🎉🎉🎉🎉success!
As you all can see it was stimulation of glute med that erased the pain. But yea u should train hip flexors too
Training your hip flexors to train your hip flexors 😂
i’m realizing that “it’s all in the hips”
Something else ive done is hang from a pull up bar while raising the kettle bell on each foot!
My hip flexor is so tight. My physical therapists have done a lot for me but its so damn tight. The only time its not hurting is when i am walking so now i just walk a lot more all day. Will give this a try for sure.
I get pain in my hip flexors when I bench... I have no idea why either
Not a doctor but i had the same issue and it was a torn hip labrum. Did PT and a banded squat was one of the exercises prescribed.
