I am asking questions because I am curious and learning from you. You are meticulous in your work and I appreciate it. Plan to build a pool like this in the US in the spring. I am finding available pool kits so expensive. It’s almost as if they are taking advantage of people. I know many question how long the wood will last. Your build will last a long time with that drainage system you put in. Do you have a pump or do you rely on gravity?
It is connected to my house drain system that i recently also replaced so this whole system will last at least 50 more years :) No pump, just gravity. This is also something I want all in on when adding it. A good drainage system will vastly improve the lifespan on the wood. If the drainage system does not fail then the wood will basically never rot. The worst thing you could possible do it to have no drainage system and refill with soil against the wood (seen so many vids with huge amount of views that do this).

Why didn’t you just sink them into the ground with rebar and cement
