1. Brightest and best of the stars of the morning,
Dawn on our darkness and lend us your aid!
Star of the east, the horizon adorning,
Guide where our infant Redeemer is laid.
2. Say, shall we yield him, in costly devotion,
Fragrance of Edom, and off'rings divine?
Gems of the mountain, and pearls of the ocean,
Myrrh from the forest, or gold from the mine?
3. Vainly we offer each ample oblation;
Vainly with gifts would his favour secure:
Richer by far is the heart's adoration;

@@hancecil❤🎈🕊️🙏🏻🐑☀️🌈🤗🎀 Congratulations on the Nativity of Baby Jesus Dear friend CeCil...delighted to meet you my dear...you know...I received a visit from many children who came happy to see my Nativity scene.They sang two well-known songs and my friends helped me give them a bowl of cold chocolate with cookies, which they ate with a smile!...some even asked for another repeat of the cold chocolate😄And since I have an old slide and swings, they all played and then they were tired and one of my friends picked them all up in the truck and took them to the main town.....😄There were 15 children, we were all happy!!🤗🎈🐑☀️🌈🎀‼️Chiao...Friend CeCil....Peace and Love🕊️❤...A hug and a kiss....Malena🌻
