Walter is a humble and well.spoken person. Love his wrestling.
"the mat is sacred" is not just a catchphrase, it is their way of life, they live eat sleep and breathe these holy words of pro Wrestling, this is the passion many talk about...but these guys..they live it.
Finally wrestlers who aren't faking accents or gimmicks. I didn't like them at first but these fellas are true legit wrestlers. Gunther should challenge Roman for the belts. This group is how the old school was. Great group

love this group so much! outside of the bloodline's run imperium is just gold Gunther always gives me that final boss feels and instantly I'm glued to the screen.
Marcel is the mouth piece of The Imperium. He is needed even though he was kicked out of the group before NXT 2.0. They are the best stable next to the Undisputed Era.
Great interview, Gunther has become one of the biggest new stars in WWE, so well spoken, humble and incredible in the ring 👏👏👏👏🫡
They seem like cool dudes. I’ve met a few Germans and Austrians and all were good people. These kids are the real deal.

Well, they speak German in South Tyrol. And the whole area of South Tyrol culturally is more German / Austrian influenced, than Italian. Even their names are German. But yes, it's still Italy.

As someone who started watching wrestling in the 80s, tuned out in the 00s and is coming back into it now, in my opinion there are clearly two standouts in the industry right now. Gunther and MJF.
These 3 are fantastic wrestlers. Respect 💯

I know WWE's focus out of all of them currently is Gunther, and fair play the guy's solid all around. However, I personally see great future potential in Marcel, the guy has it all; The looks, the wrestling, the mic skills, the way he speaks in interviews etc... Great group all around I'd say.
I could see Marcel becoming a major heel in the future.
Fabian Aichner/Giovanni Vinci got screwed the most in the call-up. Poor dude kinda got left in the dust while Marcel Barthel/Ludwig Kaiser and especially Walter/Gunther only go higher and higher.

I like gunther, walter was fine and there was no need for a change but gunther is fire as well

Love this team. And they need better booking. They have the talent to be a top 3 heal team that should be in the run for gold, or at least in the mix. Secondary belt for Walter, tag belts for the other 2. WWE needs to split the tag belts agin to make this happen. But they are a top ten tag team easily.

The name change is fine, it’s the change of theme music that’s an issue. It sounded like a nerfed version of the original theme
To me the biggest issue is the color change to red. I mean imagine a 5 star main event match with him that lasts at least 15 minutes and not a stupid sqash match, makes his entrance less important. The red color reminds every wwe fan to Vladimir Kozlov.
@@josefsad1502 I don’t think the color is the issue at all. Granted, Imperium looks best in black, but the red doesn’t look bad either. The theme music is really the only negative to Imperium’s presentation and that isn’t even because it’s bad, it’s just that their previous one was so much better

My only complaint about Gunther’s name change from Walter is that Walter was my grandfather’s name. Call me a mark but seeing a badass wrestler go from what I thought was a great name to a semi generic name did bother me at the time.
