Thank you for your reply Simon. One thing more please. My DRZ has a 17'' front wheel and the knobblies I have coming are 17'' also. I can't imagine there are logs or crazy steps on the lanes. I have a fair bit of experience in fields and woods so I can keep her going in most situations)) It may be possible for me to get and fit a large front wheel. Question is; Would you press on and see how the small wheel goes on the trip? Please. Thanks. Jimmy.
@@SIMONB1 Hello again Simon. I am just home from the TT. Had my touring bike over. I am thinking of popping back over during the summer with my DRZ 400. With my big front wheel. Are there any clubs that I could join and explore with? Please.
Hey up Jimmy, I don't know if any, there may be a branch of the TRF out there, I believe there are some good guides that would show you round, I have gpx files of the island, north and south DM me your email address and I'll send them over 👍
Hello Simon. I wish to take my DRZ 400 SM to the TT next year, would you consider it suitable for green laning? It's all I have at the moment.I will have Knoblys on it. Thank you. Jimmy.

Hey up Jimmy, the usual front size is 21, you could find a second hand wheel easily enough that would fit , this would be better than the 17 🤔
