They are beautiful plants and very underrated in my opinion. It’s called red arrow in the U.K., and mine was a very full pot but I let it trail a little and the leaves got disappointingly very small, so I’ve now put in a dowel for it to climb. Slow growing in my experience also, but grows fine in low humidity, 40 degree or thereabouts but I think id get better results with a higher humidity. Llano carti road is in Panama, the Darien, so I’m presuming this is where the founding stock originated. Yours is looking lovely 😊
I got a cutting from you remember? I loved it, but I just threw it out🥲. I finally got myself downstairs to start cleaning things out so I can start bringing thing down. My daughter and family will be here on the 24th so I’ve got to get the plants out of the room they will be staying in. Then the other bedroom so she can set up the pack and play for my grandson, and then I’ve got to get things out of the living room and kitchen. Is that enough🥹. I threw away 53 dead plants yesterday from the basement, and got a lot of the dead cut out of the others so I’ve got some room for others now, but only for a week or so because when I bring them up I’m going to bring up mostly my begonias so I can focus on those. Have a great day. 😊
Oh wow sounds like you will have a busy week with family there. I bet you are excited. Hope it doesn't wear you out to much. Sorry you had to get rid of so many plants and that so many died. But you've been so sick it can't be helped.
I love this plant. The red backs are just beautiful.
It is really a pretty plant 🌿 ✌️💜
I love mine too. So pretty.Nice pop of color in a sea of green. My humidity is low 40's to 50's. So far mine is doing well.
That is awesome!
