Excellent video and it is going to help me a lot with my current project. One thing I would like to ask is how can I have a form for the customer to input their listing at the site, for example someone wants to sell his property on this site and adds images, name, location, bedrooms etc, and then use that data to automatically create a listing on the site. Thanks a lot for all your assistance!
Thanks a lot for your fast reply, the solution you provided is helping me a lot with this, if the client needs the pro version I will surely use your discount code!

Fantastic Tutorial again, Janek! How would you add some more functionality like a possibility for users to give a star rating and leave a review and how to add a listing to a favorite list?
Hi Janek, I have a follow-up question since the tutorial is now three years old. What would you do differently today, considering that blocksy has evolved and gained many new features in the meantime? Which new features would you use? Do you still have to filter everything, or does Blocksy now have its own filter option?
Blocksy has a built-in filter block now. See this video: ua-cam.com/video/Fas59RdPki4/v-deo.html Also, Blocksy 2 has so many new features. I have made a sperate video about it. See here ua-cam.com/video/S8QB43ivlKg/v-deo.html and here ua-cam.com/video/JVYIp4_uWjc/v-deo.html
hi I can't get the CSS to work to place the Category buttons inside the featured image (minute 18:15 of the video): the value of the margin-bottom works positively (the higher the value, the greater the distance between the button and the featured image) but in negative it doesn't work (I put -41, -80 or -120 on it and it doesn't move; it's always outside the featured image) . I'd appreciate your help. In any case, I thank you for your excellent work in promoting Wordpress and especially Blocksy.
Fantatsic video covering a subject I have no experience of. It would be very useful if you could explain how you got to the website with header etc before you get to the listings part. Is the opening screen of video the home page or website, and how did you build that?
I need help i have test website hair salon on the main menu there is a button for prices when click on prices button page appears with two buttons one for ladies and othe for men when click on ladies button prices appear on the same window when click on men button prices appear on the same window how can i make this? Thanks
Sorry, but this question is out of the topic, and it is hard to answer because I don’t know what theme or/and plugins you’re using. BUT: create three pages. One for the main prices, second for men and third for women. Put buttons on the main page and link it accordingly.
Whats your opinion on this stack: Blocksy+Stackable+Kadence Shop Kit? Most of the Blocksy starter sites comes automatically with Stackable so its quite hard to import that starter site and use kadence blocks....
If you want to create custom product layouts with Shop Kit then you'll need Kadence Blocks. If you're not going to create custom product layouts, then no Kadence Blocks is needed amd you can use whatever blocks plugin you like.
@@wpsimplehacks but I can use stackable and kadence blocks together no? I can leave default theme pages alone on stackable and work on products and new stuff with kadence blocks?
@@wpsimplehacks so how can we use blocksy templates without stackable? How you load tempaltes in your demo videos when you are making for example travel booking?
It depends on your need because both are good. My go-to theme at the moment is Blocksy though. For your money you will get so much good features that no other theme has.
Thanks Janek for another wonderful clip. I love these kinds of site creation from you. Very practical and easy to replicate and learn from it. I have one question/suggestion. Would you mind have a bonus course about how to use Fluent Form as a Front End Form Submission for mapping those single property fields for Register Member, please? Thanks so much in advance if this can happen! Cheers
Glad you like it! At the moment I have no plans on making a video about Fluent Forms mapping but maybe this doc hepls you out wpmanageninja.com/docs/fluent-form/advanced-features-functionalities-in-wp-fluent-form/mapping-meta-fields-with-meta-keys-in-wp-fluent-forms/
Can you do this same tutorial, but without having to resort to using plugins? This would be better to understanding the coding up side of things to grasp concepts, etc. Only the ACF plugin would be fine to include.
It’s not in my pipeline, sorry :) But on top of my head it would probably an easy task with the Blocksy Product reviews extension (it’s available for free). Just set up your site, add your reviews and set up you links.
Yeah, as I said in the video, you can use PODs, CPT UI etc. plugins, but I also said that I don’t like to use plugins if I can solve this with a little piece of code. Hence, my alternative version.

It's difficult without a plugin. Look for a plugin called Directorist (I've also mad a review on it)

It would be wise to ask this directly from the Blocksy support. maybe they changed something in the styling settings.

I don't use pre-made templates from Blocksy. Instead, I create those either by myself or use the ones that Kadence Blocks offers.
It would be amazing to see the video how to make the same property list with icons of bedrooms, size etc. ,but made with woocommerce products.
