This song is something incredible, it directly hypnotizes and makes you cry. It's a mind blowing combination of guitar melodies, rhythm section and Mark Burgess' vocals... His voice is just amazing! I love this song very much. Bravo, The Chameleons!💓
The insert of "The end" by The Doors in this song adds quality and fascination. I appreciate the tribute that Mark Burgess always gives to other artists like for example his great friend Adrian Borland of The Sound.
In this lineup they have achieved the almost unachievable for bands that survive many personnel changes - they have once again taken ownership of their sound. Amazing power in songwriting of this standard.
Did you see them when they were in Boston last?'87 I think . At Spit, down by fenway if I remember correctly. Unbelievable. If they came to the states at all, you know Boston gets a show. Out here in Arizona I think I'd be SOL.
I've never seen this band but boy I really want to I hear there playing early 22 I think Nottingham rescue rooms. I'm not going to miss it hopefully some other gigs on that tour

The Chams and the Sound. Two criminally ignored bands.
@@gemimasaliva wrong, look at and hear the audience !
Has also done shout outs to Alternate TV and The Fall.
@@pressureworks
Obviously i don't mean their fans
@@gemimasaliva the fans are all that matters. And the bellows.
Without being shoegaze, this song is more shoegaze than the whole fricking shoegaze scene itself.
Which is quite phenomenal.
The person (probably an aging GenXer) waving their walking cane beginning at 1:39 is my favorite part. "Get out the way kids, Grampa's gotta mosh!"
brilliance
Eine der besten Bands aus England!Super !!
The return of an incredible band… 2/4 of glory.
Die Gitarren Götter❤!!!
The waving of a walking stick. The audience is my age group and know good music.
Perfection.
Me and my wife were at this gig.Have to say they were brilliant and the atmosphere was great.
Agreed :)
Hoping to see them on their postponed Canadian dates in 2023. They better play this one! One of their most powerful songs
Mint band so underrated
Yeahhh Reg !
The band gets back and this fucking pandemic hits. What a shame. World tour quality here.
I know. Still can't believe it...
Props to the drummer....

Maestros
Please come to Boston, not the song but the sentiment.

they were supposed to in 22 along with The Mission and Theatre of Hate, don't know if the show was canx or not
I've never seen this band but boy I really want to I hear there playing early 22 I think Nottingham rescue rooms. I'm not going to miss it hopefully some other gigs on that tour
see you there :)
Is this the original lineup sans John Lever?
Make a great 12 inch.
Agreed
Who are these racists he refers to?
general comment I presume...
