Alright, here is my story about Zips car wash. I live in Missouri, and me and my stepmom usually go to a Zips car wash down the street from us, along with my little brother. I think it was about a week ago that my brother, stepmom and I went through a car wash. (I was the one driving, keep in mind.) we entered the car wash, and we were getting sprayed with this soap (manually by a person.) I realized that the carwash was acting really slow, so I was a bit worried about going through. When we finally entered the car wash, it was when we were at the part where the black giraffe tounge things (I have no clue what they are called) that the carwash slowed to a stop, and the door to exit AND enter closed off. The doors were made of metal, so we had no way out. My brother was freaking out, so I honked my horn and the (I think) manager came up to our window and told us to stay in our car and that they would resolve the problem shortly. About 5 minutes later, the carwash continued working and we finished our carwash. The next day we were passing by and realized that it was shut down. Almost a week later, it reopened, but me nor my brother and stepmom want to go there anymore. We started going to another Zips carwash, (which is AWESOME, by the way) and we haven't gone to that other carwash since.
Dang! That’s a good story sorry it was traumatic for your brother. I won’t go back because they no longer have someone pre spray before entering and all the soap doesn’t rinse off. They offer a good deal to join but I can’t have all that soap dry on my truck on this hot Florida sun. 😎
@@SarasotaTim Florida, ah... I've never been there, but I've heard that sometimes people can cook eggs on the hood of their car. Also, my brother is fine now, he will laugh about it when I remind him of the story, lol.
Even after 2 runs thru my car was still dirty. Has taken 3 months to cancel membership and never used it after the first time. They basically say oh well.... No refunds
Our experience with zips car wash was one of the worst places in Louisville ky at one time we loved going there from the day they opened in June of this year. My windshield was cracked by their equipment and I've been trying pleading for them to replace my windshield. Still to this day I've been told they're not responsible for fixing my windshield so as Kyle west has denied my claim phone calls and emails I have done what I could to get assistance I'm on a fixed income with a broken windshield this company shouldn't never get any stars but a big fat "0".
There is a Zips near me in Orlando. I take my 4Runner in there and every time the high power rinse causes some water to leak past the sunroof. Also with the high powered dryer my sunroof slightly opens. Other than that it does a decent job on my 4Runner. I had the monthly wash deal and was paying $20/ month.
Sounds like you’re satisfied with the zips in Orlando something about too much salt coming out at this location and there’s not enough rinse time to get it all off 😎
Ha ha ha yeah they let me go through a second time and gave me the Premier wash with the tire shine but the same thing soap all over the truck. I had to polish all windows and doors when I got home just finished. So that place is definitely a thumbs down. Not even close to the one I had in Sarasota the rinse was excellent.😎
Good Sunday, I don't know anyone else that washes their vehicle as much as you. I don't think dust/dirt even gets time to settle before you attack it with a wash. We got 4 inches of the white crap today unreal. 80's these past few days and today its 38 degrees and snow. I am going to need a wash tomorrow high of 57. They have a great car wash near where I live and for 15 bucks it does one helluva job. I thought about getting a membership but I don't think I would use it enough. I suppose if I were in Florida I would get a membership and you could use it when I wasn't. hahahah. Keep the video's coming. Hope you had a great weekend. CUSH IT!!

I work at zips in Arkansas. We don’t have much issues. But I make sure we get them all clean
That’s good. I have to say they offer a very good promotion to get customers. This wash put out to much soap or not enough rinse water. 😎

I use a Stihl BG55 leaf blower to dry my SUV after I wash it. It works great!

Did the second wash do any better? That was nice of them to let you take it through again. If it was Miami, they would have told you "deal with it."
