Really minor thing, but I still in love with that sound effect that plays anytime Hob turns in place. It just does wonders for the portrayal of him as this big, very regimented fuzzy dude. Bravo to the sound people!

The entire cast is just KILLING IT this season. I never thought I'd have this much fun watching drama and court intrigue in a TTRPG. And the way Aabria has blended DnD 5e with regency drama mechanics is just genius!
I am so glad that Brennan went with such a non traditional fairy, as much as I love glamor and grace and dark mystic beings, K. P. Hob provides some much needed variety and a refreshing lightness in mood.
I wish there was a way to comment on Drop Out, so I will leave this note here. Aabria, your story, and world are unbelievable. The cast and their characters are incredible (they made me cry more than once). I had never experienced a game of intrigue like this one, and you left me wanting more. I thank the universe for you all, it's more than just entertainment, it's genuine joy of the craft.
LOVE this season! D&D combat is fun but honestly it's a little slow to watch, plus when I play D&D I'm always more in it for the roleplay and the shenanigans than the combat and stuff acquisition, so this is absolutely my jam. The way the characters are bouncing off each other is so compelling, the secrets are driving me nuts, and of course, everyone is killing the comedy. I had to subscribe to dropout again the second I saw clips from this table.
First: Aabria, please make more of these. Second: For those loving the structure of the game (aside from the rolls for stealth or persuasion), it's based on the excellent narrative making RPG called Good Society. The game is based on regency society and regency motivations, but it could clearly be used in any game where class and social machinations are a driving force. Beautifully blended, Aabria. [chef's kiss]
This is my Emotional Support Dropout subscription. Aabria DMing with Brennan, Lou, and Emily at the table has been all I've ever wanted since Misfits and Magic and I'm thrilled we're getting 10 episodes this time! 33:59, I have it only at this point but I want to point out the drop of expression from his usual seriousness in that moment we see a soldier who did it all but lost so much. Props to Brennan to have that *click* in his brain to immediately transition to that feeling. Amazing.
Didn't actually think about this last time but "the bet" is, to me, the most defining assertion of a story in the bloom I think. It created a theme, and Oscar came up with it probably on the spot, that is incredible.
Three episodes in and so far this is one of the most interesting campaigns they've ever done and they somehow capture the normally feral energy of of Dimention 20 and crank it up to a 10 while somehow keeping the intrest and intrigue of the Fey courts. If you are afraid of not getting into this one because there might be less combat, trust me, it's worth it. All the different moving parts and secrets in this can be wilder then any combat they've done.
I just finished episode 3 and this is such an AMAZING season. I can not sing it’s praises enough. Aabria is wonderful in everything she does and she has outdone herself again. Every cast member is wonderful, even the B roll is captivating. I could watch an endless supply of this campaign. Truly as magical as the setting this story is in.

Aabria did the damn thing with this season, I love it so much. Definitely worth getting Dropout. Everyone had so much chemistry, the romance was heart wrenching, the characters are hilarious, the court politics and mechanics were enjoyable if you enjoy regency, and if all that isn't enough, you get to watch Lou once again charm the pants off of multiple NPCs 😂

In a more fae fantasy setting, bugbear would still be appropriate. It comes from an old english word that means 'Goblin Bear', i.e. A goblin (as in a fae creature) that resembles a bear.

Really minor thing, but I still in love with that sound effect that plays anytime Hob turns in place. It just does wonders for the portrayal of him as this big, very regimented fuzzy dude. Bravo to the sound people!
Missed opportunity to call the bird grandfather "grandFEATHER" 😆
This series just makes me feel very safe, as someone who is closeted and comes from a shitty bigoted country, dimension 20 just breaks all barries of gender, sexuality and diversity to me. Can't wait for more :]

Aabria's honeycomb earrings are freakin' awesome.
There's so much else I could say about this fantastic episode, but I'll limit myself to that one thing.
I didn’t even notice them, but you’re right, those are sick, I feel like either she makes her own jewelry, or she has someone that custom makes it, her stuff from calamity was great too
I am loving Lou's earrings so much as well!
Omar's introduction of himself as a player is basically all the information you need to know about Andhera.
Lou and Emily are such a wonderfully chaotic duo! They are so perfectly in sync, I was non-stop laughing from the moment they started speaking at 1:03:47 😂
Perfect "yes, and" mentality, always hyping each other up. *Cheff's Kiss*
Lou has always been the ultimate hype man, teaming him up with Emily is terrifying to behold.
I didn’t think a d20 season could surpass misfits and magic but it has only been two episodes and I’m already completely invested and enthralled by this story!!! Love me some fey regency
Misfits and Magic hit a little flat for me, but the great thing about d20 is the variety. I really liked Crown of Candy, Unsleeping City, and Escape from the Bloodkeep.
@@jamespryor5967 that’s my favorite part too. Misfits and Magic absolutely made my world, though!! **spoilers**
The only thing that fell a little flat was Evan getting his shadows under control. But he was feeling a little main character y up to that point, so I’m glad they course corrected ^_^
This coment alone is enought for me to subscribe 😂😂
i so badly want to watch this full season and misfits and magic but i don’t have dropout and can’t get it :( i am so sad because i’ve watched the first eps a thousand times and i love them so much :’(

Honestly they missed the chance for a pelican palanquin
Oh my god is this set gorgeous!! I love that aabrias hair decorations synchronizes her with the background almost as if she's surrounding and extending herself around the cast
I love this as a statement on DMing itself
I need to see Aabria DM another regency game because she does it SO WELL.
As someone who is just used to regular dnd, classic fantasy, etc, this game has got me so excited! I never thought I'd be gasping at a letter being read aloud before but here we are lol
Hey, she's not DMing but...there's a Jane Austen RPG (Good Society) that she played at Saving Throw channel that is hysterical.
"How many doves does it take to pull one ostrich?" Truly a question for the ages.
we're only on episode 2 and i couldn't help rewatching it twice already because it's just so good!! it's my favorite season now (yes, i said that about previous seasons but they just keep feeding *me* specifically)
I have a question, if you don't mind me asking-
Do they have closed captions and a fast forward button like on UA-cam?
@@HarPaelTheMessenger there is closed captions and a speed adjuster!
from my experience the captions occasionally misinterpret what the people are actually saying, so expect just a few oopsies here and there. there's a dropout app which also includes the closed captions but i haven't seen a speed setting

Brennan is really a weird creature, when it comes to RPG. Honestly he can't avoid a certain degree of control over any table he's in.
I absolutely love Wuvvy! She such an adorable Satyr.
The entire cast is just KILLING IT this season. I never thought I'd have this much fun watching drama and court intrigue in a TTRPG. And the way Aabria has blended DnD 5e with regency drama mechanics is just genius!
having a handful of systems smashed together is the perfect setup for a game set in the world of Fey.
Brennen needs to be a player in more campaigns, his characters are always so good

Only noticed about an hour in that Oscar's nails are painted two different colors and im loving it more and more
1:01:29 Was the first moment I realized Brennan has the *tiniest* little flower just tucked behind his ear
Despite watching the Adventuring Academy episode for this session, I see Earl Airavis as a completely unchecked and unhinged Fabian Aramais Seacaster.
Aabria looks absolutely gorgeous! From the makeup to the head piece, such a show stopping charming woman.
Emily puts her dice out on the new moon. Love it.

@@TheNo1pencil she is my hero.
I don't know how but everyone looks extra pretty in this campaign. I've only just started watching but I'm enjoying every second and loving the vibe.
"I lay an egg" had me rolling. Love Grandfather.
one of the many highlights of this episode is everyone's growing concern when omar describes the appearance of andhera's nightmare yeth hound
