Crochet Interlock Braided Headband Super Easy

- Crochet this super easy interlock braided headband. Great crochet project for beginners & idea for a quick project for the last minute gifts. I used treble crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch & chains.

Yarn used: Medium 4 weight yarn, 100% cotton. You can use any yarn. For thinner headband, use lighter weight yarn. Use a thinner yarn for not bulky headband.
Crochet hook: 4.mm
Headband finished length: 20 inch un-stretched. Strap not included.

8:49 Braiding You can start braiding in any hole depending where you attach an accessory. And also you can start from the first hole or in one direction braid. I braided the way on the video in order to have the same pattern on both ends.
How to get your desired size: My estimation only.
Head circumference minus 4 inch. Example, 21-4 equals 17. The beginning rings should be 17 inch long. I have 18 inch beginning rings on this tutorial as shown at 3:04. This headband will fit 20 and up head circumference.

Ch- chain
st- stitch/es
hdc- half double crochet
I used US terms crochet stitches.
