Green neons would look awesome in that tank.
Their splashes of blue will compliment the autumn colors you have going in.
In small limited amounts I absolutely love green algae clumps on wood. It adds an amazing vibe in my opinion
Blue Axelrodi will be great in this setup.
Really a great use of color with the plants and background! Could stare at it for hours!
Lovely tank: the yellowish lighting makes it look a bit like a Blackwater tank. V interesting idea to link in with the Season.
Daisy's Blue rice fish. The males have that beautiful blue sheen and the females have a golden tint to them.
I absolutely adore this scape, its very beautiful. Though, I wouldn't call a tank poorly maintained if it contains hydra. Hydra can be a natural part of any aquarium, while many look at them as pests (myself included in most cases). They certainly are an interesting creature. I would, however, like to find a way to remove them from my Mystery Snail breeding tank. The Mystery Snails will indeed eat them if they happen to "run" over them, but one microscopic piece of hydra can regenerate itself so I find the hydra population with explode in no time at all. All of my tanks are ecosystems containing many small organisms which hydra thrive on so I have found it impossible to remove them without the use of certain medications. Those medications will kill sensitive snails like Nerite and Mystery Snails, but definitely not pond/pest snails. If you know of way to rid tanks of hydra without harming anything else, I would be delighted to hear of it. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video with us. I find your videos to be so relaxing and enjoy the sense of calm that you instill in them.
Thank you 🙏
Fabulous and chill as always mate!❤
How did you make the LED panel? Is there a DIY guide? Can we make this out of some sort of plastic board with glued on LED strips for my UNS 75P?
This is a product that you can purchase, it's not diy.
Daddy planted tank uploads :D
I am a father and an aquascaper, and I just uploaded - so yes.. 🙌
Fish recommendation: 6 black
Phantom tetras
Nothing wrong with platys! I've got some myself. If you want an autumn themed pop, why not add three red platys?
Great george superb
Nice tank
Where can I get that light panal ? I love autumn - would luv this
Hi George, what about a reef tank? I think you will be a great reefer
Tried it. Did a planted reef with macroalgae. I just don’t vibe with reef like plants. Maybe it’s the colours, the expense, the relative high demands, the salt.. I just love plants so much, there isn’t room for coral. I may try macroalgae again though. 😃
I'm not sure hydra is an evidence of neglect. The infestation can be a result of adding new plants from a place that has a hydra problem. It spreads fast.
I think it building on the glass is a sign of not cleaning the glass 😄
Neon green tetra would be my vote
Schönes, kleines Aquarium, wobei mir aber der hellblaue Hintergrund besser gefallen hat...😉
Woah, I love that illuminated background on that tank! I used to keep the same type of plants you have in the background, but I found it so hard to trim them in a way where they grow back nicely. Beautiful plants though, love how red/pink they get up on top.
What is the light lifter you are using?
Hi George, I’ve made the same upgrades to my Oase biomaster as you have. The prefilter tube and the top plate moulding ,but did I hear you right , Did You say “ new impeller cover “ ? Is this a new type of impeller cover ?
Best,
Mark
My apologies - I meant the top plate moulding
Don't take this the wrong way George, but somehow I'm relieved seeing that even veteran scapers like you still had to deal with bothersome algae. You've said it yourself in your book that you still suffer from it occasionally, but well, seeing is believing 😂
This is something that I had to remind myself from time to time (especially when I'm watching your Hungarian friend Balazs' tanks which always seems to be so clean).
Algae is naturally present in all aquariums. Some will use various methods to make it invisible but it’s still there. The key word is “suffer”. I don’t suffer from algae. I accept it. 💚
Tell what isn't clean is his attitude towards other ppl in the hobbie. This man is far from squeaky clean.
Isn't it wishful thinking to assume that the BBA will go away on its own with only good maintenance and correct CO2/plant food supply?
Yes, and it works given enough patience and diligence. Sometimes. 😅
I had background levels of bba in all my tanks until I started using RO. Never had it since.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cherry red balloon platy's would be my choice
God bless you with a revelation of Himself,
in Jesus' name Amen...
Using click baity titles now? 🤣
Yes indeed, but I prefer to think of it as using curiosity-driven or intriguing titles. As a content creator, I need to balance creativity with the reality of keeping viewers engaged, supporting my family, and fulfilling sponsor commitments. Getting people to click is just the first step-what matters most is delivering real value once they’re watching. I wish we didn’t live
in such an attention-driven industry, but it's where we are right now. Thanks for the comment and allowing me to over-explain 🤣
@@GeorgeFarmerStudios well, it worked for me! And I enthusiastically support your statement to be patient and let nature take its course.
too techy for me. Chasing the rainbow....its not ultimately healthy.
Depends on the rainbow 🌈
hi George...you have a fantastic channel and lifestyle...sadly the rest of us don't. Remember showing lavish homes and top draw scapes is wonderful. But a lot of us are never going to afford it. Your wallpaper costs more than my monthly income.
@TurnFullCircle I hear you.
I try to share my passion for aquascaping with everyone, no matter their budget or situation. It's not about chasing expensive gear but finding joy in creating, whether it's big or small. I appreciate the insight you’ve provided me and realise I’m blessed. I’m actually lucky to be alive, as are you. The fact you’re commenting on a computer or smartphone is a reflection of that.
