This was the beginning of the end for Cartoon Network & it started with Johnny Test's debut on the network that month.

In 2008 , 4 years after godzilla final wars was the last godzilla movie. Nobody thought theyre would be another movie coming out. Until 2014.

It wasn't the beginning of the end at all. Think of it as them being very topsy-turvy of quality for a while.
That's just my own personal two cents from my experience back when I was an 11 year old. But that's also true not all of 2008 was bad. You had new episodes of Chowder & new series like the criminally underrated Flapjack. In a way you can describe it as sort of like a crazy rollercoaster ride of quality. CN has their ups like Clone Wars, Chowder, Flapjack, Batman: BatB, Alien Force, Etc. Then we get to their downs. Primarily garbage imports from Canada like George of the Jungle, Johnny Test, 6teen & IMHO Total Drama.
@@frostluigi9622 I honestly don't get the hate on Total Drama. It's one of the primary reasons why we got shows like Adventure Time in the first place. Total Drama got iffy later on, but the impact season had on CN is staggering. It's no ordinary import, it's fanbase is still HUGE.
@@mesousagaby740 I'm only the vocal minority and looking back only the first season of Total Drama is okay. It just gets worse later on.
@@frostluigi9622, no offense, but some of my favorite kinds of commercials from 2008 were the ones from Noggin, and Nick Jr, but I promise you this isn't a request, because I know you're probably don't take those kinds of things.

18 years old, and I've was homesick with a Vomit and didn't celebrate 2008 with my Mom and my Aunties until I've felt better to START 2008 My Final Year in High School as a Senior with Madison from Totally Spies 18 years old going to say Goodbye High School FOREVER and Hello Olympics and College and a NEW President Barack Obama.
Cartoon Network’s final moments of being a good channel before CN real and Johnny test take over and all of that as a result of Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen movie/07 bomb scare that drove Jim Samples away and brought Stu Snyder and his lapdogs upon us ruining everything. (Also Camp Lazlo ended its run in 2008.)
