This was it. The last of the good era of Cartoon Network. The Eds making their final stand as the only original Cartoon Cartoon to be around. They had persevered despite the major changes that had happened throughout the years. The curtain was about to fall, but not before they would give us one last performance to close out their decade long career.
Agree. Cartoon network hasn't been the same when 2010 started. I'm just here listening Walk with me by Joe Budden from Def Jam Fight for NY while I'm reminiscing about how much I miss Cartoon network in the 2000s. I still watch and think about them. But when major changes happened, it was time for me to say goodbyes to any cartoon programs. Like PBS Kids, Nickelodeon, Disney and Cartoon network. It didn't felt the same. I wish I could go back to my elementary and middle school years in my 2000s days.
@@duncanmcknight4622 Genndy is keeping some lasting aura of respect for the network with Primal and Unicorn Warriors Eternal, both those shows would have fit right in perfectly like a glove back in the day.

They were probably still afraid after The Powerpuff Girls Movie bombed in 2002 and it was arguably worse in 2009 since by that point most 2D animated movies were not money-makers at all.
