If you like the content "Smash 👊" the like button 🙂🏓
I'm a penhold left handed player.
Hope you enjoy my last video #Stiga #Cybershape
My current setup is:
Blade: Stiga Cybershape
Forehand: Stiga DNA Dragon Grip 2.3mm
Backhand: Butterfly #Dignics09c 2.1mm
Glue: Free Chack II Pro
4XOPD48DTS042L5W
V8QV5NLPGDX4RGNF
Super rare table tennis player are you!
1. Using Cybershape,
2. choosing a penhold grip,
3. playing traditional penhold push block,
4. left-hand player
5. and is a non-asian guy(I apologize if I were wrong)!
This is soooooo cool!
You are such a rare bird! I'm gonna share this video to my friends!
Wow. Thank you for that great description 👏 😊 🏓
... such a rare bird "Love that 👌"
We will see how far I can go my friend.
Have a nice day 👊
just one word,,, AWSOME!!!
Thanks bro 🏓 🙏. Thinking in ways to keep improving.
Thank you.
👌 🏓
Hi Victor.
Does it make a difference -Stiga cybershape Truls Edition?
Truls Edition is essentially a Cybershape CWT. The Cybershape in the video doesn't have the weights to customize weight/balance.
Omg this is crazy I had a college tournament at that same venue 2 weeks ago!
Pretty awesome. Keep training bro 😊🏓🙌
nice
Thank you 🏓
Aham!
Do you prefer this new paddle design or prefer the normal current paddle for pen hold? Do you see yourself continue using this paddle from now on with practice and tournaments or was this more for fun?
Great question. I switched completely to this new blade. I started training hard and my first tournament will be in 3 weeks with it. I will upload how this process goes. Thank you for your comment 👌🏓
I may consider this if DHS blades come in this shape. Absolute fan of DHS blades.
@@anujmchitale maybe DHS and another brands will make another crazy blade in the future. But Stiga already patented this shape.
I'm watching your game with Kobe Couyoumjian (2218). Round blade at that time, right?
Hahaha I used Dynasty Carbon and Gewo Nexxus time ago. Testing different materials. Also running both out of energy 😄
Hi Victor,
I cannot wait to get a Cybershape. Honestly, I'm very impressive on your forehand shots/loops with Cybershape. What I want to say is powerful, spinny, speedy. Could you please tell me what makes your forehand loops/shots powerful, spinny? And to my curiosity, I wonder why you don't use as similar rubbers DNA platinum as Truls Moregards? I'm looking forward to receiving your reply. Thank you.
Hanh Nguyen. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Hey Hanh 👋, thank you for your comments.
Let me respond the questions one by one:
1. About Forehand, I think everything is related to the acceleration, and squeeze the paddle just when I have ball contact.
2. I didn't try Platinum yet, but I'm happy with the grip I have with DNA Dragon Grip. I know Platinum XH is faster but I prefer to keep my focus on spin more than speed.
3. Cybershape is crazy you have speed and control in the same blade. I'm so happy with it 😊.
Take care. Regards from California USA 🇺🇸
@@VictorMoraga Thank you, Victor. Exactly what I need. I like your saying "...acceleration, and squeeze the paddle just when I have ball contact". What a great tip! You prefer spin to speed, that means brushing the ball is a must, Do you always brush the ball(except smashing the ball at times, right?) for every shot?
@@HanhNguyen-qu6su I like to brush the ball when I need it. Sometimes you can make the same motion brushing the ball, and annoying the opponent not brushing too much. You can control that part. Same principle, when you make a serve, it could be a crazy underspin, and then same serve "motion" with no spin.
The key point for me, is to have the capability on my rubber to make a nice spin, and then use it wisely when you need it. If you brush every ball a good and smart opponent will learn that. Keep variations is also good 👌
@@VictorMoraga Thank you so much for your detailed explanation.😊
@@VictorMoraga talk about spin,do you think its comfortable with DHS neo 3 ? or another tacky rubber?
Good video, and an interesting blade concept.
BTW, what rubbers do You use with Dynasty Carbon?
Thank you. I was using Dignics09c on both sides with Stiga Dynasty. But..... I will make another video about a change with my Cybershape 😊🏓
@@VictorMoraga what do You think, is Dragon Grip with Dynasty Carbon a combo worth trying? Have You ever tested such one?
@@fraer111 I put Stiga DNA Dragon Grip on my forehand, keeping 09c on backhand just for testing. And I'm really surprised how much spin I can make with Dragon Grip.
I 'm recording some video and then make a "product review" about that. If you need a Yes or No, my suggestion is "Do it". Stiga made a rubber similar to 09c but cheaper :)
@@VictorMoraga thx alot!
Jajaja esa paleta juega sola 😄.
Abrazo Primate, acá entrenando 6 días a la semana. El nivel se sube o se sube 👊🥳
Hi Victor. Dan commented in his review that the cyber blade lacks control when doing short soft touches. Do you find the same as a penholder? Also how does it compare to the carbonardo series?
Hey 👋. Remember that control doesn't depend only the blade. That's a mix between Blade + Rubber. If you use a bouncy rubber forget about short soft touches. That's why I was testing different sticky rubbers for keeping the ball short doing serve return. I don't know Dan's rubbers, but control is part of Blade, Rubber and your technique. For short ball, you can squeeze you paddle during the contact with the ball, less and more, depending of your needs.
Ooops I forgot to tell you about Carbonado. They're ok for me, just ok. Dynasty blades have better feeling and control. I had Carbonado 190, 145 and the fastest 245 / 290 > Wild stuff. Not anymore 😄🏓
@@VictorMoraga thx that makes perfect sense!
Do you think short pimples will bring out the power of this racket?
Oooops 🤔 😯. That's a great question.
This blade gives you great control, but depends what blades you used before to do a fair comparison. I used many carbon blades, fast like crazy as Carbonado 290/245 and then Stiga Dynasty was amazing. But know Cybershape is even better. If you tried some Carbon blades before, go for it 😊👌🏓
An interesting shap
Absolutely. I will keep uploading videos how this goes. Regards 👌🏓
Hi, great video, thanks for it. Btw, did you switch your rubbers completely? I guess you played with 09C
Thank you 🏓 🤗. I was testing Dignics09c on backhand and Stiga DNA on forehand. Making a new video about that 😉
Hi Victor how did you order it if you from united state and where did you order your cybershape racket. Thanks
If you're in another country, you can confirm from Stiga's website. I got it in Europe. Not sure, if US store will get it soon.
Good blade, very diferent... What Thickness this blade? Do you like?
I really love the feeling and control. Thickness like previous blades 5.5 mm nothing crazy 😊👌
@@VictorMoraga Something wrong? I think thicker than that, 6.2mm
Can’t seem to find prices on this blade?
Hey Domingo. The prices are available in the website Stigasports > www.stigasports.com/eu/catalog/product/view/id/3874/s/cybershape-carbon-cybershape-carbon/category/564/
Hi Victor, what glue do you use for the Cybershape + DNA rubbers?
For now, I use Falco Optimum. Easy to spread and remove if you want to re-glue. I put 2 thin layers in the rubber and 1 layer in the blade 👌🏓
@@VictorMoraga Never heard this brand before. By the way, since I'm not good at spinning the ball, I'm afraid that the Dragon Grip may not suit to me. Are you happy with the new Dragon Grip rubbers? How often do you replace them? Few months? It depends on how often we use the rubbers, right?Thank you.
@@HanhNguyen-qu6su if you're still working to make spin, maybe you should try DNA Platinum M. That one, can suit better your game style and then you can figure out later what's next.
Depends of how many days a week. But if you play 2~3 days a week, you should have a good performance for 2~3 months easy. I'm not saying after that the rubber is dead, just less performance.
@@VictorMoraga Can you tell me the pros and cons of the DNA platinum M and XH? I think I'm more all round player. Thank you.
@@VictorMoraga Hi Victor, most likely I will set up Cybership pairing with DNA Dragon Grip in forehand and DNA Platinum H for backhand. At first, I intended to set up two DNA Platinum H for both sides. However, your forehand performance with DNA Dragon Grip, which looks impressive with powerful, spinny shots made me change my mind. Thank you and God bless you too.
The reporters in my country keep saying its a six sided bat. I count seven.
Hahaha people keep asking me if the blade is legal 😄 or if I cut it myself 🤣
7 is right 👌
So I can just sand the corners off my blade and job done, bigger sweet spot.
Nice, thank you.
No need to spend money so they can cut off the edges and charge me more for less. 🤣
Hahaha that's a good one. Sand the corners off 😄👌🏓
Amazing
Thank you. I will keep improving 😎🥳
Awesome video! 👌
Thank you so much 🙌😊
How about durability of this new blade? I mean, about surface. Is Coating nessesary?
Better than my previous blades. YES. Absolutely
@@VictorMoraga thanks my mate:)
Please, what is coating?@@VictorMoraga
THANKS FOR REVIEW. LENGTH HORIZONTAL =... CM. LENGTH VERTICAL = ....CM ??
Hey 👋. Length Horizontal 24.3 cm and Length Vertical 16.2 cm 😉
Racket of the future?
We never know. But we will see what another brands do in response to this blade. I'm really enjoying this blade everyday 😊👌🏓
Is it head heavy compared to traditional shape? Still looks like a stop sign tho. lol
Not at all. It's well balanced. I don't have any issue with the balance. After 2 weeks using it almost daily, I forgot about the shape and it feels like a traditional shape.
@@VictorMoraga So have you noticed any advantages?
I'm really surprised with the control I got.
@@VictorMoraga but the advantage of the shape is supposed to be bigger sweet spot. So if you didn't notice it then it's really not much different over traditional shapes.
Maybe I misunderstood your question. When I say "I forgot about the shape and and it feels like a traditional shape", I tried to say that the shape doesn't bother me. Some opponents kept looking my blade even during the game being distracted 🤣. In the beginning, I was always looking my blade, or thinking in the weird shape. Not anymore LOL.
😂
Which club is this? Looks familiar.
Hey 👋. It's OCTTA - Fountain Valley, CA.
Raquete do sueco Truls Morengards, finalista do mundial em Houston. E.U.A.
Yes Sr. I'm in Houston now 🤠 😊 🏓
So how come the wtt approve this? Care to share?
I had the same question. But if you see it 👀 in another way, this blade is like a hybrid between Japanese Penhold and Chinese Penhold.
By ITTF regulations: blades must be mostly wood. There is no limitation on dimensions including the thickness of the blade, only that it be wood for at least 85% of the thickness, flat and some minor details on non-wood layers.
So, following the rules no issues here.
Regards 👌😊🏓
@@VictorMoraga what if i propose a bigger a blade? Would it be allowed?
@@azriazhar6288 I think so, maybe a tennis racquet 🎾 size, but you will not be fast enough. Bigger will come with limitations: more weight, slow down your game and you will be really tired soon 😊.
is it legal? what's the regulation regarding shapes and size of table tennis paddle?
Legal? Of course. I 'm returning from the WTTC in Houston, TX. The 2nd place was Truls Moregardh from Sweden. He used this new blade.

I ser the ball is still round !
Hope they don't change the ball's shape 🤣🏓
@@VictorMoraga Exactly
what ...queeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
But what's the point?
I think that during the previous years, we got a lot of improvements in the layers, materials, woods, etc. But why not, to receive improvements in the shape. I'm pretty happy with the control and feeling with my new blade 👌 🏓
happy rainbow table tennis ........... when will there be 50mm balls?
Hahaha or even bigger 😄
@@VictorMoraga 1on1 38mm 21 Points ....
is this legal?
Absolutely. Many Pro players started using it in the last month. Some of them will use it in the World TT Championship in Houston TX, USA.
@@VictorMoraga well if i'll be damned
There are no reasons to play such a racket as the producer's income. In this case, only money to the manufacturer for the quirk counts.
I agree with that. Equipment is important but more important is develop the skills as a player 🏓 👌 👏
🌎🇪🇨😃👍
🏓👌
Saludos
Gimmick. Waldner used his old bat for decades and did quite all right. Better to use your time practising rather than shopping.
I love that 👏.
Always better to spend time training and develop yourself as a player.
Skills doesn't need any shapes 🤣🤣🤣
I always say that the key is develop yourself as a player. Blades and rubbers will help you, but the player and skills are the main part.
@@VictorMoraga that's the point!
100% uglier but at least I can cut the rubber with my hedge trimmer.
Nice one 🤣, you can cut it and make your own shape 🏓 👌
