Bruv, you’re not messing about today!😂 But honestly I needed to hear it. For me it has to be waking up and having set goals each day. Many times I see the time going and I have no control. Thanks Ken.
@NWRHenrythegreenengine3F yeah man! Goals are so so important. It gives us a sense of purpose daily and even if we don't hit them, we learn and adjust.
I got out of credit card debt 3 years ago. Never again. Stoped living beyond my means and thus allowed me to build emergency funds and to start my investment portfolio (thanks to you guys). I wanted to upgrade my car last year and decided to save for it with a good interest savings account because i am not going to take anything on credit other than a mortgage
People keep telling me I need a bigger house to raise my children in but I don't want the life long debt that will accompany it! We have enough rooms so what's the issue? Having said that, I've begun looking at houses on Right Move ... my point is, it's hard not to listen to other people's opinions!
If you have enough room in your current home, it would be better to save the extra money and put it or some of it towards your children's future such as a Junior ISA.
If your neighborhood is safe I wouldn't think a move is good. You and your children have friends. A larger home would separate you all more. Teens could lock themselves in their rooms and not enjoy the family as much. You would spend more time and money on maintenance instead of the family. Pay off that home and put your energy into loving your family.
I just want to be comfortable and be able to run my heating all winter if needs be. My wealth is my health, my family and my friends. My other wealth is being disciplined.
I spent a lot of time thinking about what side hustle I could start on my own and then this year the opportunity came to start something with my husband. I never actually considered that ever before and it’s been an incredible learning experience.
Hi, great video. I have stopped doing everything myself. It's exhausting and slow going. I now pay for services and progress has been quicker building my website. And I'm slowly stopping listening to people that can't help me achieve financial independence
Great video thanks for this Ken and so true you need to do DD on a person who is giving you advice for sure and have a few friends who are good with money and get their opinion on it.
Thank you very much for all you do. I have been watching your video consistently. I have been in the UK for less than a year and I want to enter into property business but not sure how to begin.
Fortunately I grew up in a country where you purchase or build with your cash. It’s normalised in the west and while it’s easy to fall into that trap, I’ve learnt to hold off and purchase with cash and if not, then wait till you generate it.
If you want a liability, purchase an asset like a buy to let or a HMO property that will grow in equity over time but release monthly income to pay for the monthly payment towards the car you want. 🤓
This video really spoke to me I needed this because I watch a lot of videos and I don’t take enough action. Yes I am investing but is it automated? No What is holding me back? Fear. Am I listening to too much people ? Yes I am. I love that you said this is like admin because I do admin for a living and I think and fairly good at it at work. I’m writing down some actions as I think I know what I need to do. Thank you and God Bless!
I want to invest in property but holding out because I want to save up enough money to start . Maybe if I start networking with other I could reach that gold quicker. My biggest gold is to start investing in property.
You most definitely will reach your goal a lot quicker if you start networking. One thing that surprised us at Financial Joy Academy is that a few members (after getting to know each other and build some trust) put money together to buy property together. That mindset of thinking beyond yourself will take you far with building wealth.
Great video. I really want to own a secure home for my kids one day. I have just turned 40 and am starting to feel like it's never going to happen or happen on time (given that interests rates increase with age over 40). I want to be hopeful but can't help but feel like it's an unrealistic goal. Still hopeful though...
Which of these 5 things will you stop? 🤔
I have no credit card debit I use it so I can pay it off. I do this by not knowing my pin numbers.
Bruv, you’re not messing about today!😂

It's hard. But you also need to know what you want and stick to it.

Good priorities. Money is the icing on top.

Brilliant 👏🏾. What's the side hustle?
