i think for the first song, op meant to put Fire truck - NCT 127 because limitless is not the debut song, limitless is not really EDM, and it was not hated or labeled noise music by nctzens, its widley agreed to be one of their best releases, it also didn't have many noticable fashion elements that had impact on kpop. but all of OP's points apply to firetruck, it was dragged to the mud for being noise and nct's worst subunit debut etc.
Personally the grps who have nailed the noisy music is skz , ateez and dreamcatcher. Their songs have perfect balance. They understand the difference between music that will make you get up and dance and music that will give you headache and not a single song from these three will ever give me a headache

Man I miss f(x). Red Light was one of the first few Kpop songs I heard when I started listening to it, and that song absolutely slaps. SM had something really special/unique with that group at that time. NCT are my faves when it comes to this genre, but there are many more groups and not everyone likes all of the songs, so that's just that. Doesn't make a song bad
For me, there is a very clear distinction between tasteful noise music and grating noise music. For me, it all comes down to mixing, mastering, and samples/intrumentation. If a group or producer uses the same brass sounds or bass melodies that have been around for a decade, it gets really repetitive and grating after a while. And if it's mixed poorly where the voices and the music are muddled or poorly balanced, it can ruin a song. But if a group or producer is contsantly thinking outside the box for unique samples and new sounds, the music will feel way more inovative and cool. Plus, the producer has to know how to build a song where the breakdown feels earned.
I do like noise music .. but not an avid noise music worshipper that's for sure 😊.. (plus not a big fan of sticker , but a huge fan of Simon says .. that's song SLAPS hard)

There is a difference between melodic EDM music and what people deem as "k-pop noise music." For me, I absolutely despise noise music and think it's a fucking plague on the K-Pop scene in recent years. With that said, in my opinion, this video put actually good EDM k-pop songs alongside "noise" songs, which is a shame, but there is a clear difference. NCT's "Limitless" is not noise in my opinion - it's very much a pop song heavily layered with R&B and hip-hop elements (also probs my fave NCT 127 title track). "Miroh" by Stray Kids is just standard EDM. But then you have "ZImzalabim"... that noisy song makes me want to chop off my ears, LMAO. To each your own - everyone can like what they want. But IDK, I feel like there's a very clear difference between EDM and "noise."
people talk about kpop 2020 that way cause everything in 2020 was depressing but with kpop every single concert, in person fanmeet, music show performance, radio shows, etc. got cancelled and so many different members got covid it sucked. + you add people going to the military, how strict lockdown was and how shitty 2020 was in general and the mental health decline of literally everyone. obviously there was tons of amazing music released at the time but everything else made it not as great of a year
