I have built Candace as a DPS because I'm a simp for her and she did 30k normal attack and 60k charged attack the other day (both were vapes and I used Bennett, Xiangling and Kazuha to maximize her damage), so she can do some pretty good damage if built right (70/170 crit ratio, 4pc Heart of Dephts with ATK sands and Jade Spear)
The worst part about it is that due to how her burst works you can't switch characters and Co-op so that technically means you're losing out on a big part of her damage

Yes, for in-depth explanation, Candace's E doesn't generate a shield similar to that of "Crystallized shield" pick-ups. Beidou and Yun Jin does generate a shield when they use their E and is able to counter primo's vomit thing... Edit: This is for hold E version.
5:55 The reason Candace good against those pillars is that her shield dealing Blunt damage similar to Claymores. So, ye, her shield is good to break Ore too. It takes half the bar on the crystals. Beside her E she deals a shield bash with her second attack (N2) and that counts as blunt damage too, but not as strong as her E. Common combo to break a crystal ore N2, E, N2 or N2, dash, N2, E when her E is on cooldown and you have one more ore to break.

An explanation is that you only reflect the Primordial Shower if you're using a shield that correspends with the Geovishap's current element, Geo shields will always reflect the dmg too. Ex: Beidou countering the Electro Geovishap would result in a reflect. Beidou countering the Hydro Geovishap would NOT result in a reflect. Zhongli/Noelle's shield or Yun Jin countering any version of the Geovishap would result in a reflect.
I was expecting her to do yunjin level of damage as well but idk why hers is underwhelming. But oh well, I love her and I’ll still 6/9/9 her talents and she’s already lvl 90. I don’t think I’ll bring her to the abyss tho but it’s ok, I have more than enough characters to complete abyss for me.

Hey guys! I would like to share something about candace. Even tho she scales off hp, she can do damage with her burst too, infusing herself in hydro. You can use her as a dps in that way too! I use 4pc heart of depths with attack sands, and she can go to 40k-50k per charged attack in vaporized teams! she is really cool so you should give her a try! She deals a lot of damage in a good build (also, since her ult is based in her normal attacks you have to level up her normal attacks too!) Hope I helped you, mate!
