While you haven't read the original translation of Asterix I look forward to hearing what you make of these. My man!
Some quality literature there, Omar. Good job with the Astérix, I have loved the comics (or bande dessinée, if you will) since I was about four years old. And I have been trying to upgrade and load my collection with DC Comics books, because... who knows what'll happen :D Better to have all that we love, right? :D
Thank you, sir. And you are right.
Wow, that Fenix book is beautiful. I'm with you: I'd love to buy that in English.
Absolutely.
Books with remainder marks are people too!
So is Soilent Green.
@@NearMintCondition I should only comment to your videos with movie quotes 😆
Life and Times of Scrooge is sold out again! To be honest I only have volume 2 and am on the hunt for a copy of volume 1.
Thank you so much for this amazing gift. Brother, this is so beautiful. I spend three nights flipping through it seeing if I missed any small details.
Yes, one more Deluxe Edition for Scott Snyder's Justice League run
Cool Cool Cool.
Another Awesome Video 👍 Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it :)
How can we not notice the near mint nudity Omar 👌🏼😂
Btw you should do a top 5 or 10 Brubaker if you have the time
Ohhh good idea.
These are terrible to watch haha. Picked up the first Walt Simmson Thor trade. What's weird, I owned vol 5 since it came out.
Random question, do you prefer to read comics in English, Spanish or whatever? I know Spain prints a ton of manga.
Hahaha.
Reach out to Fantagrphics if you can to get the Life and Times box set back in print. Thanks NM.
Life and Times is out? I will ask for sure.
Thanks A lot
Have fun with Asterix. If you know a bit about the European stereotypes, then they get even more funny.
Thank you so much.
That 'Russian Doll' show on Netflix is real good.
I will have to watch it.
Asterix singles were available in oversized format like 20 years ago. Go find them
I'll try my eyes on these.
@@NearMintCondition u gonna get glaases. but do an asterix review. I read all issues as a kid and loved it. I dunno how an adult perspective on it would be.. so curious! hope u have fun though man!
Asterix! .. gotta watch the movies too. Not the live action one. The cartoon ones.
If they are available in English.
@@NearMintCondition They are. Bought a box set years ago in Australia. Let me try to find if it’s available in the U.S. Growing up in Germany I never had that problem (those movies play on TV every Easter season) but was also surprised when I found them in English.
@@NearMintCondition Alright, found them. A few (not all) are available on Amazon Video for free included with Prime =) Voice actors changed over the years in the English version so unfortunately there’s less consistency than the original version. Still great, especially for your daughters. The ones from the 60s take some getting used to from a drawing quality standpoint. Later ones are perfection.
That's a big sexy haul!
My man!
OMAR - Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck is hella OOP. Vol.1 and the Box Set at least. Cant find it anywhere. Please do yo thing and get it back! I'll even like the video! :P
I'll reach out to them. For sure.
@@NearMintCondition I read on a french forum that Don Rosa announced Fantagraphics were working on a deluxe edition that will be even bigger (oversized coffee table book). I hope that's true and will triple dip as I have Life & Times Boxset and the Don Rosa Boxsets.
You need to get Reckless!
I do.
Softcover omnibus. The Nerve.
Which book? The trades? Oh yeah! I love reading...no matter the format and sometimes there are no choices than trades.
Cowabunga fellow minties 🤙
My dood, thank you.
Very cool!
Thank you!
looks like I missed out on that Scrooge McDuck Artist Edition, sadness.
It was on sale for IDW cyber Monday sale
It's out of print now?
@@NearMintCondition it is but IDW keeps a secret stash and unveil them on cyber Monday. That’s how I got mine last year. They are too expensive on eBay.
@@ta5777 It's still available on idw's site for 150$, wanted to buy it but the shipping costs are almost the same price or more depending on the option, and i have to add custom fees that i will surely get (i live in France). There goes my wish to get this edition and the Usagi Yojimbo Grasscutter Artist Select :(
@@spamafaute6931 wow. Looks like it just back in stock. But at 150 it’s expensive
Looks like Absolute Flash Rebirth got canceled like a day after u announced it. Loll im quitting DC comics now.
It's crazy.. no longer in the catalog.
Can someone recommend a site where I can find a copy of ‘Kill or Be Killed’ deluxe edition or whether there are plans for a reprint? Thanks!
Sadly right now it's out of print and the only places will be eBay and Amazon third party. No word on reprint yet.
@@NearMintCondition - Thanks a lot for the clarification.
please review blue in gree by ram v
I'll check it out.
Russian doll that show about the girl who is in a Lambo.
I want get You have killed me that is from the Creator of Lady Killer.
Ahhh I'll have to watch it.
Hi
Hi again
Hi
Hey now!
Nuce
Nice*
Thank you
You didn’t watch Russian Doll? Watch Russian Doll already!
I will. I'm a huge fan of Run Lola Run and its seemed like the same premise.
I’m fashionably late to watching this, so for now this is just a filler comment. Algorithm gang! :)
Boom! My brother.
Thats an illegal amount of stuff
All was bought with legal transactions.
You need to learn French before reading asterix though ;)
Wait... what?
To read them in French
Was really disappointed with You Have Killed Me. Weird pacing and disjointed storytelling, really lets Joelle Jones’ art down.
Oh man, I forgot I had started reading the book.
Team Omar!!!!
