A quick tip for making sure your stamp is lined up right. So with my 5 star stamp I drew lines on the wood on 2 sides, bottom and side. That way I can triangulate where it hits. Game changer

The Odyssey was my fav book of the year. I had to write 3k words on it for my final uni essay and delving so deeply into a book I already loved was brain chemistry changing experience. It is the reason I want to try a book journal for next year so I can continue to interact with books that way with a lesser word count. PS I have only been watching your channel for about 3 days and already have so much inspiration for my 2025 journal so thank you. Love from a fellow Aussie.

My favorite read of this year has been the Inheritance Games Series. I recently started rereading it and fell in love with the mystery of it, as that is something that I don’t normally read. I find the characters super intriguing and I just want to keep learning more about them and how they deal with all the wild things that are happening.

My favourite book of the year so far is currently a tie between Butcher and Blackbird and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. B&B I loved due to the sadistic humour and comedy it holds. It had me laughing from chapter one. VotDT gave me the magical world vibes that anything could happen in this story, and I was all there for it. It just really warmed my heart 💜

My favorite book for 2024 is The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown. The idea that books have power or magic to travel anywhere, to heal, to forget, to feel pain, to create illusions, to time travel, and many more things. You get to choose how you can use these books selflessly or selfishly.

My favorite read of 2024 was actually Why Did The Alien Cross The Galaxy? To Find A Fake Boyfriend And Befriend A Vacuum Cleaner by A.M. Rose. This was such an adorable read. My favourite read was Iron Flame, I know some think it’s “YA trash” but it is honestly such a fun (and drama-filled) time, some of the sass from the characters made me laugh out loud & I think the themes addressed in it is important.i recommend the amatic audiobook for it
Second favourite was Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone - it’s a mystery novel that is ALSO a parody of classic mystery novels. As someone who doesnt read mystery, this was a load of fun - especially as an audiobook!

The theme of the reading journal is absolutely gorgeous! My favorite book(s) that I've read this year is the Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan. I decided to reread them a few months ago because one day I kind of randomly remembered just how impactful and comforting that series was to me as a child, and rereading the series definitely brought me a lot of the nostalgia, comfort, and happiness that I was yearning for.

My favorite 2024 read is call His Majesty's Dragon. It's a historical fiction and I loved it. My favourite book of the year is a toss up between two books, Funny Story by Emily Henry and A Sorceress Comes To Call by T.Kingfisher. This is the first year I tried contemporary romances and I connected so much with Funny Story, it came as a big comfort at a crazy time in my life. And Kingfisher is one of my absolute favourite authors and I’ll love any book she puts out, especially a fairytale retelling.

My favorite book was Project Hail Mary. I actually read it twice this year. First time in February (read it one day - couldn’t put it down) then again as an audiobook in August. It’s best to go in totally blind, but it made me laugh and cry..I still can’t stop thinking about it and I think everyone needs to read it. Yes it’s sci-fi, but I think it truly transcends genre. Instant top ten of all time material and I’m old and have read thousands of books, so that’s saying a lot.

I've been meaning to read it for ages because it's one of the most popular German sci-fi books and this year I finally did it. It is always so hard to pick a favourite read, so excluding some rereads (A Gentleman in Moscow, Mort, Memory by Lois McMaster Bujold) I’m going to say A Man Called Ove. Not just because I just finished it (it is for book club), but also it sort of reminded me of A Gentleman in Moscow, but kind of in reverse… it has humour, some fantastic character development, and explores ‘going on after loss’ in such a sensitive way. It also reminds you that there is often a story behind every action and reaction - context is everything! First two chapters Ove annoyed me, but by chapter three as his backstory started to unfold I really began to like him. And my favourite characters (yes even more than Ove) are Parvaneh and the cat!

My favorite book of the year so far was actually quite difficult to choose which is very telling of how my reading has been so far. But I do find myself thinking of Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros constantly and possibly more than other books I’ve read this year. Even though I struggled with the first one a bit, I kept reading the series because I was reading it with two of my friends and also was bonding over it with my coworker and it truly made me excited to get to work the next day to talk about it. And I actually really ended up loving the second book a lot more and now it’s got me going over many theories and I am just nonstop thinking about the next book. 😊

A beautiful journal!! My favourite read this year I think has to go to Running Close to the Wind by Alexandra Rowland - it's absolutely hilarious, it's got anti-imperialist pirates and comedy and emotion and queer polyamory and in the end everything boils down to a cake competition. What more could anyone ask for? It felt like it was written just for me, the main characters are all horrible little messy goblins in the most perfect way, and I read it in just a few days on holiday in Shetland with the best friend I usually live whole continents away from. There are some close runners-up (including the first one in this universe, A Taste of Gold and Iron, and an unexpected blast of a fun read in Nunslinger by Stark Holborn) but this has to win out for me! Happy reading to everyone out there - I've been so enjoying really getting back into my old fave hobby the past year and looking forward to more great reads in 2025 ❤

Such a gorgeous setup! I love the blues and the greens in it as it gives such a mysterious and whimsical vibe to the book. Also love that you use the scrap paper as a washi tape.
My favorite book of this year is the first book of the House of Night Series, Chosen. I am usually not of the young adult genre but I do love how they didn't follow the usual trope of vampires but made a different spin on it. It also keeps you on your toes on what will happen next.

This journal looks amazing! I had so many good reads that it’s hard to narrow them down so I’ll give a top 5. The Trials of Empire, Thornhedge, the Dead Cat Tail Assassins, Mirrored Heavens, and to Shape a Dragons Breath. I highly recommend.

I love the rating book mark I use one for to compile my reading goal year after year. so I write the year and then the goal and at the end of the year my actual amount of books read ( ex. 2021 120/104) and just go down the book mark you could have a double sided bookmark with the rating system on one side and the goals on the other... ooo I might have to play around with that.... haha
but I am loving this video :)

Choosing one amongst all the books I have read is really difficult but if I would have to choose, then it would be 'The Fellowship of the Ring' by J.R.R.Tolkien. I really enjoyed reading this book as it felt to me that I was going on a quest along with the characters.
The second book I really liked is 'Emily wilde's Encyclopedia of faeries' by Heather fawcett. I fell in love with the characters Emily and Wendill who are polar opposites in personalities. It was a cozy read for me. Sry for making it lenghty lol I am stopping myself from recommending more books.
Anyways, I love your videos. The journal turned out gorgeous!!! Love from India.
    Eagerly waiting for 4th December!!

Wow this is so amazing ! I have started journaling consistently for a few months now, but a reading journal has always intimidated me, so I would be super happy to win this one, and fill it with all the books I read ! You have an incredible talent of finding items that match and creating something beautiful and practical ! It is so thoughtful to make this journal very versatile for the winner ! My favorite book from this year is for sure Dreams lie beneath, it’s a witchy vibe book, with strong female main character which I loved. What I prefered was the character developpement and overall dreamy vibe, this book is such a gem, and not known but everyone too ! Anyway, I would be so pleased to own this journal, also because I am a big fan of your channel and your work that I always find inspiring and true. Thank you for your videos, the are really conforting. I am trully grateful for finding you !

I really loved the Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick! It is a junior fiction read, but what intrigues me is how much of the story is told just by pictures! Sometimes I definitely prefer to imagine everything in a book as it’s described, however, this book immediately pulled me in and made me feel like I was immersed in that world, almost as a bystander, watching the story unfold. It’s an easy read, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Oh wow, gorgeous! The cover page is STUNNING. Definitely taking some inspiration for my 2025 set up ❤ Not entering the giveaway as I will be setting up my own journal, but I think my favourite reads this year were both re-reads - LOTR and The Count of Monte Cristo. My favourite new to me book was The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida, I picked it completely on a whim because I needed a book from Sri Lanka for the Storygraph reads the world challenge, and it was available on audio from the library, and I ended up absolutely loving it.

My favorite read of 2024 is definitely UnWholly by Neal Shusterman because I had read the first book of the Unwind dystology way back in middle school and put off reading UnWholly for a good amount of time. Now that I have read the second book, it's made me addicted to reading like I used to be when I was younger, and it was genuinely enjoyable to see these characters that I loved so much in action again.

To Shape a Dragon's Breath, this book had the biggest hold on me. It had all the commentary on modern society with the subtleties. The world building felt vast but was given in manageable chunks that felt natural. I also fell in love with the audiobook narrator. I don't listen to audio usually because it's hard for me to follow along but her cadence and pronunciations were glorious. I know I'm late to the party but it's so worth it.

I gasped as soon as you opened the journal, it is absolutely gorgeous ✨💞 My favorite read of 2024 has to be "The Starless Sea", by Erin Morgenstern. It is hard to describe it, but it is a book about the magic of books and stories, the adventures they can take us on, and how much they can mean to us. It has absolutely gorgeous writing and I related a lot to the main character. I read it in January and have been obsessed since. Thank you for the beautiful and inspiring video as always ✨

My favorite read of 2024 has been "The Wild Robot Escapes" by Peter Brown because I was a bit in a reading slump for a couple months, then I went to see "The Wild Robot" in theatres which totally made me cry it was so touching. Anyway, the movie left on a bit of a cliffhanger and so I googled and found out it was based on a book series!!! So I got "The Wild Robot Escapes" from Libby to read and it was SOOOOO good, it was like the perfect little cozy read AND it really really nicely tied what happened in the movie (and first book I'm guessing) but yeah I really enjoyed it and highly recommend reading it if you also watched the movie and now need to know what happens next to our favorite Roz robot! 💖🥰🤖🦆

I always enjoy watching your videos. I would love this journal. My favorite book so far has been The Last Tiara by M. J. Rose. It’s a dual timeline between a mother and a daughter. Takes place in Russia during the fall of Tsar Nicholas and in the 1940’s during the creation of the atomic bomb. It’s a beautiful story about a daughter on a quest to find out about her mom’s life before coming to America.

Your reading journals are so inspirational. After watching previous ones, I bought things from Journalsay and I was more than thrilled with how they look in real life. I haven't set up my reading journal for 2025 yet because I'm still trying to decide on the size and format. Thank you also for introducing me to the CAWPILE rating system. My favorite books this year were all historical novels: Kristen Hannah's The Women and The Great Alone, Canary Girls by Jennifer Chiaverini, Radio Girls by Sarah Jane Stratford, and Kate Quinn's The Diamond Eye and The Alice Network. I loved Rachel Hawkins's The Heiress because of all its twists and turns and Nora Roberts's Inheritance: The Lost Bride - Book I. That was predictable, but I loved the haunted house in which it took place.

I'm a chronic mood reader but I've been getting back into it recently! A journal like this would probably encourage me to read more. My favorite book(s) have been the Apprentice series by Hannah Nicole Maehrer! It was an easy read that reignited my love of books and has encouraged me to keep reading this year (even if it's a bit slow). This reading journal is really a work of art!! Love it!
