In 2002, I bought a new large capacity whirlpool gas dryer. Its in the laundry area INSIDE THE HOUSE. It gets used about every 3 days, sometimes multiple times on those days. Its now 22 years later, its never broken down, or had any issues which is fantastic. Its obviously never had a fire. But I can only imagine how much lint must be in there. . Maybe I'll have a company come out and do this!
If you were in the Boise Idaho area i could help you. Ive only seen 1 gas dryer fire. Out of the 16 that ive seen thats pretty good odds for you. Although there are more electric dryers in my area. Either way it’s probably worth getting it checked out.
Thx for the reply. I'm in Southern California so its just a little to far lol. I used to have family in Logan Utah if you know where that is. I would leave from Palm Springs around 7 am and arrive at thier home around 8 pm. Oh to be young again..I'll look into getting this one cleaned out and maybe it wouldn't hurt while hes in there to put on a new belt! Thx .
@@dryeronfireNo, in 2002 I moved to Yucaipa. I was born in Palm Springs, and decided I wanted a change. The weather here is very different, though its only 39 miles away. Much greener, considerably more rain, plants and big beautiful trees that grow here, won't down there. And occasionally we get SNOW HERE!! LOL. Not alot dusting to occasionally 3 4 inches. I work still in Palm Springs so I'm there for that, and friends and my sister are still there. I really like my new area here and don't see myself moving back there to live.
Gosh, I hope you can put it back together again lol. Check where the nearest exit is if you have to do a runner 😅
