Thanks so much for sharing! I like LinQ, especially for reading on science in other languages; however, I don’t think it’s great for entertaining stuff. That’s why I think combining UA-cam videos and LinQ is great :) good luck with your language learning to you as well
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago Thanks :) Yeah, actually I agree with you, I mean combining is a great way, if you have some kind of diversify, you don't get bored too fast. LanguageGirl I’m sure it would 😇 btw Japanese is my native language and I think u can pick it up quickly since I feel it’s not that difficult to understand if you are interested in the language 😆
Try learning languages with Netflix. They might offer subtitles in Turkish Here is a video if you are interested - ua-cam.com/video/_6SVwKe8Yls/v-deo.html
btw, the italian guy said "guarirlo"( to heal it), but actually that's not the correct term. In his sentence the best option would have been "contrastarlo" (to fight it), "trattarlo" (to treat it). You don't cure or heal a virus, it works in a similar way in english :)
@@EggyDavi I've seen videos in English that appear with captions in Spanish. UA-cam algorithm changes the title to make it more appealing to people that don't speak English. It is automatic. I don't know in what language you saw the caption, but I wrote it in English

Unfortunately, you can't, or you'd just have to guess and look the word up in a dictionary. I am not sure if UA-cam offers a great variety of subtitles, but this free extension "learning languages with Netflix" does offer an incredible variety of audio and subtitles in other languages. I made a video on it if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/_6SVwKe8Yls/v-deo.html
And how you practice speaking in the target language? Are you just doing this tips and you speak fluent as you spoke in one of your videos in 6 languages? I’d like to know because It’s frustrating when it comes to speaking.
No, this is just how I build my vocabulary. Unfortunately, I do have an advantage with pronunciation because I was raised billingual, which makes it easier to pronounce languages like German since I know English and Italian since I know Spanish. My pronunciation in French, which is the language I most struggle to pronounce, really comes from years of practice. I have recently watched some videos that focus very particularly on the way the tongue is placed. I don't know what your target language is, but if you can get a native speaker to tell you how to place your tongue or you can get a video that explains this same concept, it will help you a ton
Can you give me some comments? I am Cambodian, I have learned English since I was young. I am studying Bachelor of English at university. By the way I want to learn other languages such as Thai and Korean. I want to ask you that Is it good or not to learn 2 or three languages in the same time? Or we should wait until one language is influent so I can learn other languages?????
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago I tried Quizlet but unfortunately there's no option to remind you when you have to check the word again, you should do it by yourself... But its good as well...

I'm surprised you watch "La pulla" because they use a lot of Colombian slang, hopefully you understand everything. But they have a nice accent which is the accent from Bogota. Plot twist: you're Colombian You speak the languages I'm targeting first now. I'm escalating through romance languages and after Portuguese, I'm learning Italian. (Already know English and Spanish). Hope your channel grows, keep it consistent. You communicate very well. Cheers!
Hey friend... Plz would you like to help me with your experience to improve my skills in English... In other words I will help you to learn Arabic if you want to learn more about the language....
Amiri Rim Salam, I’m actually quite not bad at English, I would like to learn some more of Arabic, I also speak French natively even tho I’m born in Serbia and Serbian is my mother tongue ^^
I mean, I guess you will have to take at my word. What's more important to me than anything is challenging other people to do what I know is possible. Try it. I promise you it's not that hard, particularly if you enjoy language learning
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago So let me get this straight, you are saying that in 1 year you learn to speak almost 3 languages to a near native level? Considering you need around 10.000-20.000 words for that per language, which for you is 100-200days per language or 300-600days per 3 languages. I'm not trying to be negative or in any way call you out for making false claims, I just find this extremely suspect, either you don't have the same definition of "learn a word" which for me is mastering a word, or you are spending massive amounts of hours per day. In any case I don't think this is a realistic goal for most people, in my opinion.
@@alenx5455 Well, when I am in university, I do spend close to 8 hours learning languages. I go to a university that specializes in language acquisition. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/tZkFDjyqbVQ/v-deo.html I never claimed to design a schedule reasonable for most people. This is just my schedule. If people can take something away from what I do and start learning 10 words a day. I am happy with that

Sorry, I even forgot I had this video. Sometimes I go through comments too quickly
Spirited Away 😇
I love shirts with movie references 😅😅
That’s nice :3 Did you see that movie in Japanese?😋
@@shoconakaki4396 I wish
LanguageGirl I’m sure it would 😇 btw Japanese is my native language and I think u can pick it up quickly since I feel it’s not that difficult to understand if you are interested in the language 😆
@@shoconakaki4396 Thank you 😊 I would love to learn Japanese
Great video. Keep it up.
Thank you!
I like it, unfortunately UA-cam doesn't offer subtitles for Turkish.
Try learning languages with Netflix. They might offer subtitles in Turkish
Here is a video if you are interested

I exactly this that I'm doing, following youtubers with the languages that I am learning.
It's very helpful!
Hi great work, have you ever considered making some of your videos in spanish as I'm currently trying to improve my spanish x)
Maybe, idk. I will probably make a video in Spanish, eventually. Are you studying Spanish?
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago yes, I am. I mostly watch "dreaming in spanish" and I watch the old show "next". I have a method quite similar to yours
btw, the italian guy said "guarirlo"( to heal it), but actually that's not the correct term. In his sentence the best option would have been "contrastarlo" (to fight it), "trattarlo" (to treat it). You don't cure or heal a virus, it works in a similar way in english :)
Oh cool thanks!
how do you have caption for videos in a another language in UA-cam? Please help. Thank you!
I think it’s automatic. This caption is in English. Do you see it in another language?
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago on your video it showed the captions in a different language so i was wondering how you changed it?
@@EggyDavi I've seen videos in English that appear with captions in Spanish. UA-cam algorithm changes the title to make it more appealing to people that don't speak English. It is automatic. I don't know in what language you saw the caption, but I wrote it in English
Spanish : "Secretos de la vida" , recomendadisimo
Hey,Ich lerne deutsch danke für deine Hilfe;)
Bitte 😬
LanguageGirl 👍🥳❤️
Awesome
Good
You're so gorgeous! You don't like to use Anki flashcards?
In French I like Cypren, Dr Nozman, they are comedian of course they speak so fast i don't watch it like i want,
In Poruguess: Manual do mundo,
Porta dos fundos,
In Italian. A girl who teach Italian. Learn Italian with Lucrezia
In German, i'm really basic in this.
In English, Jay Shetty, HARDSTOP LUCAS, Movieclips and so on.
Thanks for sharing the channels you like. No, I feel like Anki is fine. I just don't use it. Is not very appealing to me
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago Okay. I dont use it either, i am asking cause its very popular. Yepp i use flashcards program these are called, Flashcards deluxe, Quizlet. Anymemo, ect, I like to do my own vocabs
@@elietrinidad6633 Yes, just find what works for you. I also felt pressure to use Anki cuz everyone raves about it, but it just demotivated me, so I found something I liked more, which is notability :D
very inspiring~~
Thank you! 😊
You’re wearing nice Spirited Away T-shirt 😊
Thanks!
What computer program do you use for your notebook?
Quel programme informatique est-ce que tu utilise pour tes notes?
it's an app called notability 😊
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago Thanks. :)
Have you thought about making videos on the app 'Tiktok'?
Yeah, lol but I don't dance 😅 Maybe I could make something creative idk
How do you memorize the words? Do you have some technique for it? like repetition or creating mnemonics etc. Thankyou!
I explain everything in “my polyglot routine” video. You are free to check it out
How do you extract words if the video doesn't have subtitles?
Unfortunately, you can't, or you'd just have to guess and look the word up in a dictionary. I am not sure if UA-cam offers a great variety of subtitles, but this free extension "learning languages with Netflix" does offer an incredible variety of audio and subtitles in other languages. I made a video on it if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/_6SVwKe8Yls/v-deo.html
Bless you
A year ago... How is it going that goal?!
I personally love seoul mafia!!! But be careful.....sometimes, marco tends to make words up (for comic purposes)🤣🤣
😂😂 thank you!
Any apps other than notability? On a tight budget here
Yes, this one is free. It's a spaced repetition program like Anki, but it's more user friendly apple.co/3fNB0aA
I'm watching your video... Let me ask you something, don't you use Anki?
Nope. I tried using it but I didn’t like it. I like making lists, and I think Anki is too colorless for me. I would prefer Quizlet
@@KarenVanessaBuitrago I tried Quizlet but unfortunately there's no option to remind you when you have to check the word again, you should do it by yourself... But its good as well...
LanguageGirl Yeah I had typically the same experience with Anki, it is better to find our own learning patterns or method
How many hours do you spend learning All that vocab?
Hi, Good evening.
I am currently learning Chinese and Russian. Still searching Russian channels
My favourite UA-cam channels for Chinese are Mr Yang, ZhejiangTV

Your brain hurting doesn't sound far-fetched because of you not eating. Our brains take a lot of calorie energy.
Yeah, it does actually happen if I am not fed 😂😊
I don't believe that she learns almost 100 words every single day, thats impossible.
nothing is impossible
You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/tZkFDjyqbVQ/v-deo.html
I never claimed to design a schedule reasonable for most people. This is just my schedule. If people can take something away from what I do and start learning 10 words a day. I am happy with that
