- Here are ALL Presets in Nithonat 2, by D16 Group
The Nithonat 2 by D16 Group is an updated and refined plugin that emulates the classic Roland TR-606 drum machine, renowned for its distinctive sound and rhythmic charm. This virtual instrument builds upon the original hardware's legacy, offering a faithful recreation of its analog drum sounds while incorporating modern enhancements for greater creative flexibility. The TR-606, often overshadowed by its larger siblings like the TR-808 and TR-909, earned a cult following for its punchy, metallic tones and versatile usability, making it a staple in genres like acid house, minimal techno, and experimental electronic music.
Nithonat 2 maintains the authentic character of the TR-606’s sound engine, meticulously modeling its circuitry to ensure a warm, vintage vibe. At the same time, D16 Group has introduced advanced features such as extended sound shaping controls, an intuitive sequencer, and integration with modern DAWs. Each drum part in the plugin is adjustable, allowing for detailed customization of parameters like pitch, decay, and tone, which vastly expand the sonic possibilities compared to the original hardware. Additionally, the step sequencer offers a familiar workflow while adding features like randomization and pattern chaining, enabling users to craft complex, dynamic rhythms effortlessly. Whether you're a purist looking to capture the essence of the TR-606 or an innovator seeking fresh inspiration, Nithonat 2 serves as a powerful and versatile tool for music production.
Daamn this sounds good. I hardly ever buy plugins but this is very tempting right off the bat. 606 kit is my go-to in Ableton. Appreciate the demo.
Agreed and thanks. Did you also try their emulations for the TR-808 and TR-909? They all sound incredibly good, especially their version 2
@ Thanks for the tip, I just looked at their 909 plugin when looking up this one, wasn’t aware of them at all until now. The 303 sounds promising too (just from a customer review) though I’d like to get a TD-3 anyway.
@ eh eh yes they have been on the market for quite some time. Version 2 of many of their plugin just cane out in the last year. Check them out, they had good discounts for Black Friday but they are now gone…
@@AutodafeSynths doggone it - well, at least I got Ableton on a Black Friday discount, lol. Seems I can find these for 105 instead of 119 dollars just now at least.
@@AutodafeSynths I’m a newb still so that explains that. Did get Ableton that week at least! Am able to find these for 105 instead of 119 dollarydoos right now.
