I would love to know if there's a black friday promo code this week? I want to try out Descript for the first time but I want to see what all the capabilities are like before committing to an annual. please let us know thank you!
I have a question. I am at an age where watching a tutorial with a lot of direction and moving from one side of screen to the other makes me feel lost. You mentioned the Descript Community Discord. Are there more resources there on a step by step type tutorial? For the record I am a complete newbie and in my 60's. Just interested in audio podcast.
hey there! thanks for your question. I think some of our written guides in our help center could work best for you. here's our step by step gide for audio podcasting: help.descript.com/hc/en-us/articles/10601764003341-Record-edit-and-publish-your-podcast
In descript, can you create a multiple-angle podcast from a single video by duplicating the video and resizing it? Meaning can I create interest with a wide shot and close up of each person in an interview podcast?
Beginning user here. Excellent tutorial covering a whole lot of beginner material. Marcillo, in future vids, please slow down. i get you're trying to impart a lot of information in a limited amount of time but it's often hard to follow your onscreen clicks and selections when you are illustrating a sequence of functions. Your verbal explanations are great but the pace of the on-screen example are often too fast to follow. I find I have to slow the video down, often to 40-50% just to follow your cursor to see what you selected. That said, looking forward to the next one.
is this a repeat? My reason for asking is that I'm trying to figure out do you guys actually need to do another video on the basics of descript meaning has it changed that much since your earlier descript basics video? Or more to the point how many videos have you guys created on the basics of descript? Thank you
This is dope! It makes my life so much easier trying to edit and generate new content.
Is it possible to generate a time-lapse using pictures?
