I am about to replace my broken screen on my Motorola G7 screen. It’s not a Play or a Power, just a G7. Any extra tops a year down the road from when you made this video?
This was the second one I've installed. The biggest concern is being water resistant. I was just trying to make it work for getting data off it. I'm not sure if you should use silicone or not, but there's some kind you can buy. The biggest concern is the quality of the picture. It's not bright enough to use outside on an extremely bright day with my drone, but inside was never a problem. I've replaced a couple screens on iPod Touches.
Thanks. I miss my phone so I’m hoping I can get it up and running again! I use no a borrowed one right now. Silicon glue seems popular with fixing phones. I’ll have to see what I can get.
@@Cinders2001 Also, I looked it up, something I was recommended before was the B-7000 adhesive. It's what others have recommended on their channels, and it's cheap, about $3 on Amazon or $6 at Walmart. The concern with super glue is having it come off clean if you need to repair it again. I think this took me about 15 minutes to do. It's pretty simple for anyone that's mechanically inclined to do.

Does brightness working?
Brightness works, but these aftermarket units suck for that. I don't like to use it on my DJI drone because I have a lot of trouble seeing the screen.
