Nice video Harry. I worked on the Galle - Matara highway many years ago so very familiar with Weligama. Back then it was an unspoilt beach, few tourists, with a few 1/2 storey hotels hidden among the palm trees. It's quite sad to see the huge hotels being constructed along the shoreline, but understand they are needed for economic reasons. I'm sure it is much safer now, I was there when there were soldiers and checkpoints everywhere due to tamil tiger activity.
