Hey guys, in this video we will show you how to remove or replace front door speaker on Audi A4. We demonstrated how to remove the front left door speaker on a 2003 Audi A4 B6 with the 1.8 Turbo engine. The front right door speaker will be almost the same procedure with some minor differences. The speaker plugs are not that simple, you have to squeeze the two INNER clips to pull the plug out, not the outer side clips.
The speakers are 155mm OD, BUT the cones actually glued to the black plastic cylinder housing, if you intent to replace the speaker, you have to cut the old one out of its housing & adapt it a bit to fit the new speaker ( size & screw holes to fit ), its not hard to do, easy really.
That speaker cylinder, remove the 3 screws and THEN theres a top clip thats still holding it in, you have to lift its bottom end, rotating it up around the clip ( like a medal on its ribbon ) then pull it a bit towards you & it slips out of the hole.
Ths is a good video, I used it to remove the door panel today, Thanks guys.
Also the long trim peice from inside unclips from the front end like they did it, but the final last end clip needs to slide forwards to unclip it. If you just 'unclip n rip' it directly out, you will break this clip.
also, on the passenger door, there is a hidden screw behind a pop-out cap underneath the armrest.
