The Uke is such a fun instrument. I firmly believe it's something every musician should have, it's simple and fun, and you can make it technical if you want.

I just purchased one of these and it's terrific. All solid mahogany, looks and plays great, electronics, including tuner, for plugging in and only $70 delivered. I can't figure out how they make money at that price. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W5L4J14/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mate that sounds awesome. I'm new to the uke. And learning the standard riptide. So I'm gonna throw that shit in to Lord it up!!! Also, your a pretty funny dude. Entertaining, for sure
the amount of times I wanted to unsubscribe from this channel, because the info is never new to me... and then this madlad just keeps on being the man. The swag, the jokes,... I love your vids sean, don't ever stop please.
Just changed my strings today and it was much harder than my guitar. 😂 Too many ways to restring the slotted headstock. 😩 Love the chords but no clue what the song Riptide is. 😂
Look at me! I’m Sean Daniel playing a children’s toy, I’m sooooo cool! I actually really enjoy this channel, the ukulele (I have one too!), and you, you’re great! I’m just trying to get the salty comment of the week. Great job as always, Sean! Thanks 😊
The high G sounds more like the traditional Hawaiian instrument. The low G has a little bit more of a guitar sound. It’s way more versatile for covering modern popular music. Also anything where you want a root note for a bass line. I keep my soprano and concert ukes tuned with a high G, and my tenor with a low G.
My millennial nephew showed me this cool new thing called a Stylophone. Then I played Space Oddity on it. (Not poking fun at him - his guitar playing put me to shame by the time he was 7 years old)
I found some nice ukelele chords for *Le Bal Des Laze* once, but I've lost the bookmark (and the only instrument I ever butcher is the guitar, so there are some transpositions involved). Oh, the song? It's the one by *Michel Polnareff* ua-cam.com/video/tPxajzP-2jQ/v-deo.html (Really, you need a proper organ in the right kind of church to play it properly, but that has never stopped the Lords of Uke.)
Sean Daniel's, lord of the uke, Meh guitarist hahahah. No joking obviously. He's shite at the uke to hahaha No I'm here watching for a reason. Sean is a great musician and teacher. I don't know why I'm watching a uke video though. 3 typed of people uke is made for Tiny Tim rocking out tip to through the tulips , large Hawaiians, and sexy little chicks with good voices. I am none of the above Hopefully if he reads this he makes it past the 1st ball busting bit
LOL this was hilarious to me. Forwhatever reason... I subscribed & liked, won't you do the same? Many thanks if you do! Thank you. You forgot to dress up as an indie chick.

Totally agree!
@@seandaniel23 Ahhh ye man!
I just got myself a uke, never played it before and now I'm a Ukulele Lord already. Awesome stuff! Thanks man
It's a great and fun instrument!
Dusting off my old, abandoned ukulele right now. Renaming it Sean.
I accept the honor.
Looking forward to the Uke lord for dummies book
One vid at a time!
Thrilled to get dialed into some music theory in an accessible way. I’m excited and appreciative. Thank you!

Great tutorial! 👍 You should look up Jake Shimabukuro and see what he can do with a uke.
Thanks for the recommendation!

You are good. You are entertaining. Please develop a course for uke! 😎👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I'm confused when you first say it's 2-3-2-3 and then later say to move it back to 1-2-1-2 (though they both sound like they resolve fine to the C).
Well since we've been playing in C, and dim7 chords always throw things off a bit, the tonal center will always be kind of back home.
low G tuning? That's what I prefer. BTW, why do they typically tune to high G instead of low G?
Not sure actually. I'll look into it!

It’s worthwhile to sub your channel just for the video titles. Then there’s also good content as a bonus.
Thanks so much!
How would you describe it? 3:41
"A little bit like a barista with a face tattoo that isn't really recognizable."
"Barista with a face tattoo" 🎯
Very disappointed that this didn’t feature a LoFi cover of Riptide using Uke and stylophone.
It may be yet to come.

Do you put a lot of thought into these things or do they just fall out of your mouth “barista with a face tattoo”. Lol
Step 1: Burn your ukulele
Step 2: try to achieve some level of acoustic guitar mastery properly this time
