I have been playing R6 for a year without ANY problems at all.
I installed the Burnt Horizon update and started the game but now I couldn't play it.
To sove it I de-installed the game (Steam and uPlay), cleaned my Windows registry for any Rainbow Six Siege entries. I then re-installed it, started it, got into the main menu, set display settings to low and started a game... with the same result... it doesn't work!
Got an update today on March 11th. Still doersn't work.
I am in contact with Ubisoft support. They are refering to a (new?) requirement of having a 4 core CPU. It is also strange that the game actually tells me that my setup is okay... and again I have been playing it for a year.

Yeah... Same problem popped up for me too but sadly, i have to wait a long time until i can upgraded my pc to finnaly be able to play my favorite game.
iv reset my pc and it still doesnt work

@Expendable THATS A FUCKING JOKE IVE PLAYED THIS GAME FOR YEARS NO ISSUE AND NOW THEY R TRYNA FORCE ME INTO BUYING A NEW PROCESSOR TO PLAY A GAME THAT I "BOUGHT"
