The man deserves some kind of honorary doctorate in classic automobiles, if there is such a thing. Unbelievable. His taste is broad and his knowledge is all-compassing-ing. Amazing in a great comedian as well. I grew up with Jay.
This vid made me laugh several times, especially the line Carolla used when Leno schooled him about the Gullwing production numbers "I'm used to talking to my wife's friends" , lol so funny.
+Brian Gmail I thought the same thing. Adam Carolla seems like a car guy that's used to talking to non-car people. (probably like most of us) LOL. Can definitely relate.
Hi Jay an english man (77) living in the UK who has also lived in the USA for a few years- i''ve enjoyed your garage u tube videos so much and thank you sincerely for sharing your marvellous collection with the World.I have owned/ ridden the Vincents.,a Velocette Venom,Douglas Mark V ( and a Triton briefly) also a nice number of cars including Austin Healey ,TR4A all of which I have loved deeply. Your comments and knowledge of your cars and bikes is spot on ,deep and again I thank you for sharing with us all.Your knowledge of Bugatti and Hispano Suiza has helped me understand them so much more. "Isleno", Jay called it at the end. Nice one! And this looks like a most usable, relatively fixable supercar. Killer looks imo. Tasteful and not over the top.
I had an Islero S. Before importing it to the United States my girlfriend and her sister and I did a road trip though Europe for three weeks. Suffice to say, the backseat was actually large enough for use and the trunk held all our luggage! Loved that car!
I like it when Adam Carolla comes to Jay's garage with his Lamborghinis. The last one ran out of petrol, but Adam is human like me, a certain lack of forward planning on his behalf, but we've all been there. Adam is funny and has a gravelly voice, I always get the impression he has seen a bit more of life's strange twists and turns perhaps than Jay.
YES!!! You GET it! Thank you for existing dude. Read all the other comments that suggest Adam is fake and JAY is keeping it real. I know to be ready for other opinions but sometimes... it's just bad judgment from modern shallow busy body idiots. I like Jay but your fair and reasonable (nice than mine) observations make sense to me. You can tell Adam has done well but not without seeing (AND REALIZING/REMEMBERING) some crappy times. He doesn't pretend they didn't happen. THANK YOU dude.
The previous one was a Ferrari, not a Lamborghini, and he has a nasally voice, not a gravelly voice. But you're right about Adam seeing the other side of life.
Adam has had a ton of life experience and I listened to his stories for years on Love Line. He's extremely funny, down -to- earth and intelligent. Very glad to see him as a success.
We all should thank people like Adam and Jay. These are cars we would never get to see if it weren't for their passion and dedication. Otherwise it would be a drab world of grey Civics and black Ford Pick-ups. I for one, really appreciate getting to look at something so beautiful on the road for a change. Thank YOU!!
Thank you Jay for a very enjoyable and great series, well put together, interesting, and un- pretentious presentation ,(and no stupid music ) Well done that man ! ;) 10/10
Thank you so much for putting the overlooked Islero on here. I prefer the sound of Lambo's V12 to Ferrari's. Glorious. You discuss "who's this slabsided Lambo for...". Me! Looks good with a suit and a tie. Wonderfully lit interior - lots of glass. Great visibility. Great for pan continental touring. Reminds me of the Lancia Fulvia coupe. Also it's great to hear the guest getting some air time, with interesting comments from both of you on the details of the car. Loved it. Probably my favourite episode from your garage.
Would love to see a video on the black Firebird Trans Am in the back ground when you have time Jay. Keep up the great work. Always fun watching your garage shows!
Jay is a billionaire and is by far the more developed car freak, and Adam is merely a multi-millionaire--but Adam has by far the more track time than Jay, and is more of a competitor, I would like to see them bring their fastest car to a track and I think Adam would hold his own very well at a racetrack.
Love that Lamborghini I sleep better knowing that these cars are being preserved for future generations to learn about I'm 45 now , when I was 9 yrs old the family car was a 1929 model A I still remember riding on the running boards and helping my dad wet sand the next coat of paint on his latest project which was at the time a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker . Until my mom got home from grocery shopping in old blue . that's whet we named her 56 Ford. Lol I was fortunate to grow up being exposed to old cars dragged to car shows her my dad was still Air Force . it has forced me to drive nothing but older cars my whole adult life ,and would not want it any other way !! So thank you for you episodes ! Thanks ,Jay have a good day
Gotta love Corolla. The guy has all this quiet (compared to other celebs) success, a life I would like to have with Lamborghinis and involvements stemming from true urges like chasing bad contractors instead of just making money any boring way possible... and he STILL sounds like the guy next door. I like Jay also but Adam sounds like he doesn't HAVE to be right; he loves cars but not quite as fan boy as others. The choice of the Islero proves it. Not a "look at me!" car but with respect and interest none-the-less, a car from a company trying to start from scratch in the 1960's.
Beautiful looking car. I've heard of the Lamborghini Islero, and I've seen pictures of the car, but I've never seen on in person, nor have I seen a video of such a car. This'll be a treat. :)
Oh man! ...around 12:35 in the video is what makes that whole video wonderful. The sound of Jay, accelerating and revving that beast up to where it should go - glorious! Yeah, nice, but you really ought to see my buddy Adam Lamborghini's Corolla. Oh, and using the music from the "This is Bob" male enhancement commercials in the running out of gas clip? Effing brilliant, my hat is off to you.
A new found respect for Adam Corolla, he is knowledgeable. That color is "Medium Metallic Blue" in GM speak. I had a 1990 Formula that after wet sanding and buffing garnered a huge amount of attention- it is a sharp color. A darker version showed up on the C6 ZO6, and I've seen two later TVR's that were close, but that "pop" is more prevalent on 60's sheet metal. +Simon Coles I agree 100%, and I would add that I feel the exact same way about Ferraris. The prettiest ones have chrome bumpers and the engine in front. I would take one of these over 5 Countachs. Today's Lamborghinis and Ferraris are among the most obscenely ugly creations I've ever seen.
I like the pop-up headlight front better than the swoopy headlight models. A beautiful Lambo. The right size for this kind of car as well. Love the paint color.
i think he means current podcasts. the Karl Pilkington show (what it should be called) hasn't been on for a looong time. Besides, it was on at a time when there weren't many podcasts. Not hard to set a record when you have no competition.
Jay Leno, Adam Corolla and Tim Allen should have been the presenters on the American Top Gear. I would love to see these guys get together and do a car show.

My all time favorite episode is the one where Adams Ferrari broke down... Loved that you actually showed the reality of owning these classics.

Adam has a great aesthetic eye for cars and the details in homes
Adam Carolla looks like Oscar from Sesame Street.
I like the pop-up headlight front better than the swoopy headlight models. A beautiful Lambo. The right size for this kind of car as well. Love the paint color.
MODERN CARS ARE TRASH. TECHNOLOGY LEADS TO HEAVY. TO HACKING. WE NEED THE OG MANUAL WITH NO FAT TRANSMISSIONS OR LAGS. SIMPLE KEY. LOVE OLD CARS
I never even heard of this beautiful car until today. ThanQ
This is defiantly how a car should sound. I can’t stand electric cars.
The sound of that wonderful V12.........
I love Lamborghini!!
changed the original silver to vette blue ... ouch
Love that 12 cylinder sound
Never heard of Adam Carolla or his podcast. I thought Ricky Gervais had the record.
+Jedi E.T Maybe some U.S 'record'.
i think he means current podcasts. the Karl Pilkington show (what it should be called) hasn't been on for a looong time. Besides, it was on at a time when there weren't many podcasts. Not hard to set a record when you have no competition.
Most of us heard of Adam and maybe not for his podcasts, but mainly for his radio shows for over 25 years. We also know him as a car lover.
No, the Guinness World Record, most popular podcast on Earth.
Nothing but the best. ..thanks Jay
More like Adam Carrolla's garage. I'm just kidding.
Jay Leno, Adam Corolla and Tim Allen should have been the presenters on the American Top Gear. I would love to see these guys get together and do a car show.
Why own a car if you wont drive it?
Could not help but noticing the fantastic looking 79 Trans am in the background, please do a episode on that car.
Very beautiful car.
The guy who removed the rear seats was such an idiot though.
