I'm sorry that it ruined the song for you :/ I choose to use the literal fact of me getting my nose pierced as a metaphor for me conquering my anxietys showing that even though I was piercing my skin I didn't plan to do it so I believe I subconsciously decided on it as a fresh start. I hope you could maybe enjoy the song maybe still but thank you for the reaponse.

This song meant more to me the first time I heard it (and still does) than I ever expected. I was coming to terms with the person I had become over the last 3 years, having ended a relationship badly due to my own negligence and dilutions of who I thought I was and wondering how to cope and deal with it. I also had just gotten my nose pierced so that small specific thing made this click with me somehow. It's weird how it works.

Ever since I listened to this in Trevor's car in March right before they released it I've like been in love with it I can't even express how much I love this song can't wait for the new stuff to get out. All of these butt hurt so called "fans" saying you lost a fan because of the delays, doubt they were really true fans anyways.

being someone who went to highschool with some of these guys, its surpising to think they grew up in one of the most cornfield-surrounded areas in ohio lol. They are phenomenal . still amazing in 2020.

I'm sure a lot of people will agree when I say that they have a very unique sound. I have noticed that no matter what metal sound you have, there's always a similar sounding bands. I am yet to find a band that sounds similar enough to these guys. I love you, new age. Keep it up.

Every time he says "some months ago I came to terms with my worst fears" it makes me think of my own fears and I want to confront myself about them but everythinf just shows me I can't do it.. one thing I want to become is more outgoing but I cant do it. Yesterday I rode my motorcycle to a resatraunt and as I walked through the door I saw two girls I knew and after I walked past them I heard them laugh only to see they were laughing at something they did to me. It just puts me down.

This is my brothers band. Just about all there music was wrote in my living room. They are a very talented group. I have been fortunate to hear there whole set live. These guys are incredible. The variance in their verses the vocals both clean and screams are so legit. They've perfected the visual concept of perception. I feel the heartfelt pain behind these lyrics.
