Original message below: This is a short sound-only demo of Valves by AudioThing, now available for iOS / iPad / iPhone, a vintage valve emulation plugin with a multimode resonant filter and cabinet/EQ section. The valve section is modeled after classic vintage tubes, with a choice of triode or pentode types and with added grit and custom gain control. The filter section is modeled after a classic ladder filter (2-pole or 4-pole) with low pass, high pass, bandpass, and notch modes. The cabinet/EQ section features a selection of modeled cabinets with classic bass and treble EQ controls1. 🟣 Appstore Link (purely for your convenience - Apple gives no commission): apps.apple.com/cn/app/valves-tube-overdrive/id6451152227?l=en-GB ❤️ Support: Remember you can support my work here, no sign up needed!: www.buymeacoffee.com/953211370u You can also book a 1 to 1 lesson / consultation / chat with me here (please read the info carefully first!): www.buymeacoffee.com/953211370u/commissions 🟣 Valves: Quick Review and Info Valves add tube character to your tracks and has up to 16x oversampling. The built-in Cabinet/EQ section can emulate several types of guitar amplifiers (you’ll surely recognize a few if you watch the video demo!) and is used to shape the overdrive sound. The state variable filter - very high quality filters as always with AudioThing - features LowPass, HighPass, BandPass, and Notch modes and can be used pre or post valve. As usual, it has a lovely-looking UI. I love the customizeable randomization options that are available in all AudioThing’s recent releases. Valves is highly flexible due to the possible combinations of all the 2 valve types, 8 different filter types and 8 cabinets. Recommended, particularly at the intro price of only $4.99 (will be $14.99 from Sept 10th). 🟣 GIVEAWAY: I have 3 copies of Valves for iOS to give away! It’s very good to see more and more quality products like AudioThing ones (still waiting for Alborosie DubStation). And it’s putting the iPad back in it’s right position for me. An instrument doing some tasks. Effect processor. Good sound banks. Controller. Looper. Not so much of a fan of iPad for “doing it all” anymore. I have more fun with iPad doing some tasks in combination with other tools. Even if some apps (even some newcomer under beta) in the “beat boxes” category are always fun to use to sketch down. But in combination, they shine even more
Yes lots of ppl doing that hybrid thing. I no longer have a working laptop and wasn't using mine enough to justify getting a new one, so happy to be ipad only

Yes always love a Audiothing plugin
Everytime I get up and go to the bathroom, I come back to a new AudioThing app 😂
Hahaha, tell me about it. You might have a bit of constipation, but they've definitely got diarrhea 😂 😂 😂
Ooh. A lot of nice tweaking available with this app. Thx, Gavin.
Sounds lovely, particularly the changes in cabinet. Would love to win!
Every release by Audiothing is just gold. And yes, the UI is always stunning. Definitely gonna try my luck here. ❤
Oh, I like this one! Sounds really good and such a straight forward UI.
Great UI, yes
Nice distortion. Thanks for the demo!
Pretty nice on desktop too. Nice demo, tnx Gav!
I’ve really liked what AudioThing has been putting out. Great video, Gav. Thanks for giving a peak at the sound.
Man I want this one. If I win I’ll take Valves. Really digging the sound.
nice i love how they always have the random dice option in their apps
It sounds nice with this bass sound
Simple yet perfect demo. Good job Gav
Cheers brother!
this sounds phenomenal!!
Brilliant I love this. I'm so pleased you used it with Riffler too. It doesn't get enough airplay 😂😊
Riffler is highly loved!
Another great demonstration
Nice! You can get some "smooth grit" wth this!
Simple and effective. Nice effect!
AudioThing, son unos éstos, me leen la mente!
I didn't hesitate to grab this one already. Couldn't beat that price. Thank you so much for the demo!😊
Was pleasantly surprised how cheap the intro price is!!
Riffler is my jam, this could be my jelly.
And what will be the peanut butter?
Audiothing doesn‘t need a quality proof - this must be superb. Thanks for the video!👍🏽🧔🏼🙏🏽
Ahhh I was waiting for this one!!!!
Wow. Really changes up the sound. Interesting.

Sounds great. Thank you!
I’ve got lots of options for guitar sims, but this sounds great.
Hmmm, i love all things Audiothing, intrigued how this would sound with my ios guitar rig
Although already equipped it would be a nice addition and possibly a sonic alternative to what I already have.
Giveaway on this is over!
Im excited about this app.
Can never have enough saturators/ distortions. Cheers!
Nice and smooth!
Great demo. It sounds warmly retro.
I’ve always wanted valves, Gavinski, as well as gills and flippers, which I hope AudioThing are working on.
Yes, but surely the most pressing question is when the highly anticipated 'Orifices' will be released 🤔
Would be cool to play with this one!
Cool sounds! Wish there were a bit more valve options but it does it’s job well
Yeah, just 2 seems a bit limited. Check out the vid I did on WoodValvet, also released yesterday - it has 4 types
@@GavinskisTutorials it does indeed, at a different price point
@JadeBissat yes, wish Woodman had put an intro discount on his
Cool emulation. Sounds good!

Wow, very nice!
I'd like to give this one a GO in case I get lucky 😎
Count me in!
I enjoy audio thing apps and would love to win once in my lifetime :)
Good luck! Enter on Insta and Twitter to increase your chances!
Thanks, Gav
I need this app. Is that a winning sentiment?
Good stuff.
Cool!
Saturators is never enough, like compressors! )))
“Maybe THIS time..” Sally
Nice demo, tnx. Do you think there is noticeable latency? Some Audiothing plugins have a bit of lag.
Just checked - didn’t notice even a smidgeon of latency
I would love to win!
Very nice
Did you use riffler for the Guitar?
And the answer is YES! Lol
Indeed!
Already bought one so you don’t have to worry about giving me a free one. .
Enjoy, and thnx for commenting!
I’m not a very good guitarist, and this wouldn’t hide that. Sounds good though.
But Riffler would hide it!
FUZZY!!
Sounds good, thanks for posting.
