Impressive mics, thank you for the demo!
Normally top end can be SHARP and HARSH. Depending on material you receive before mixing, but wow man these sound so smooth. Considering that's all CYMBAL WORK, "smooth" is definitely the word for it!! Always loved Royor as my IR mic of choice (no other mic), and nice to hear the brand on something else.
Have three of them, two are a stereo pair along with the very first one I bought. Solid mics and honestly some of the best value out there

Can someone explain the purpose of certain tracks having sends to the stereo out, and having the blend super low? I thought sends were for effects, and then you route your busses to the stereo out?
Let's take a look at the snare. It is routed to a drum group. Also he uses a send straight to the master bus. Like this he can bypass the drum group processing. Basically a dry/wet blend.
@@stephanechevalier4363 sending straight to the master bus is what confuses me, I’ve never seen that. What’s the purpose of doing that on the master rather than creating a regular bus so you can continue to use the master for level/peak monitoring etc.?
@@adamhaymanmusic Sending the snare also to the Master Bus gives him the possibility to turn up the overall volume of the Snare. If he turns up the fader it will only trigger the drum Bus compression harder.

Ill say it? The mix is muddy, and that snare drum sound? I am personally not a fan of it. But man it sounds quality as F! I just really like brighter sounds. Maybe that was the sound you were going for… in that case … as long as you’re happy with it, thats all that matters.
