I have heard about the "Perfume River" for a very long time and it kind of bothers me since lol. I have no idea when its name started and who translated that. the name of the river in vietnamese is Song Huong. Song =Lake. Huong is closely translated as Scent, so it should be called the Scent River, not Perfume River.
Love the channel! Great content. I stumbled on to your channel researching SmittyBilt tents and now discovered a bunch of stops to use it! Goosenecks Nat'l Park is high on my list - not far from me in Arizona. Question: What happened to your RTT and after all this time do you still recommend it? Safe travels and keep the adventure videos coming! I dig your lifestyle and sense of just go do it!
Hi Mike! We still have our rig and the RTT stored at Brenda's brother's house. We still love the setup, especially on shorter trips. However, the multi month adventures do get difficult, especially when there's nasty weather and the only place to hang out in is the tent. I think if we do another multi month long trip, we'll try to figure out how to get a van or something with room inside when it's cold and wet outside. Thanks for following along, and enjoy goosenecks! That's still one of our favorites!
We only had 3 weeks total to spend in Vietnam. With that little amount of time trying to see an entire country, we have to pick and choose which places to spend time in. There's never enough time...
Unfortunately we don't have an income. We started saving almost 20 years ago with the idea we'd travel when we turned 40 until it runs out. Unfortunately we're on borrowed time.
Well narrated and warm voice. Hue is beautiful. I would love to go there again.
I always enjoy your adventures

Don’t understand why you spent so little time in each place?

Happy birthday dear Brenda...Happy birthday to you...Something smells like a stinky train...Oh! Thank goodness it's not you!
Are you guys retired with an income coming in to be able to do this constant traveling? Just wondering.
