@@BenganGamerAoE in Pure Fiction seems to be very different than AoE in MoC. The trash mobs are a lot less tanky so Himeko can actually capitalize on being able to break consistently. Likewise with herta. Because trash mobs are a lot less tanky, it’s very easy for her to trigger her follow up attack. Tier lists like Prydwen do specifically state that their tier lists are based off of MoC performance. With pure fiction now being a second endgame mode, either expect a separate tier list for Pure Fiction with new conditions, or an actual change to Himeko’s current standing. I expect the former. Pure Fiction seems to have completely different standards for clearing. Making a tier list that ranks characters based on their performance for both just seems a bit too nuanced.

A few months ago, my friend said it felt kinda bad to get Himeko as our starter banner 5*. He had to use his panic-built Himeko to help clear this and I got to faceroll it with my already built but still scuffed Himeko and Herta lmao.
En rope is such a key part of this. I’m so glad you mentioned it in your guide cause every other herta guide has said to use an attack rope. So glad I built my herta early thx for the free jades
Herta was using an ATK rope here actually but hey, you could still use that on someone else. ER rope is very valuable for this mode due to the massive amount of energy from kills getting further increased by ER. My Argenti is wearing ER rope.

@@BenganGamerI’ve actually seen videos of Herta and Himeko loops in Pure Fiction, however you need Ruan Mei, her weakness break efficiency buff just allows Herta to break ice weak enemies in one follow up and it’s pretty satisfying to watch
@@samkelly5045 well obviously but in fight 2 in this pure fiction stage, an enemy with ice weakness is like every 1/10 or something, which is why I said I doubt herta would be good in fight 2 here, everyone knows Herta and Himeko is a god combo if played on a stage with their respective element weaknesses
I actually think himeko+herta side 1 and argenti side 2 might be more efficient, argenti doesn’t really rely on type weakness and should still repeatedly one-shot enemies.
Imagine if the story mode has an Endless Horde mode where the Trailblazer has to Survive for a number of Waves before being Rescued and they give you a Trail Himeko because she's the only thing to Save you Butt. 😭

Ehh... She was always strong just hard to use well. Since a lot of units that are strong in pure fiction make good use of out of turn damage (ultimates, follow ups, and counters) it makes sense that it becomes a lot easier to align the big damage inside of her buff window.
I remember that you posted your thoughts about Erudition units being great but unfortunately, there were still misconceptions and doomposts around every unit except QQ (I am a firm believer that Himeko and JY are great). Now, how the turn has tabled! Btw nice showcase, miss Dreamy!

On my main account since I have no Argenti, I really struggled on first part. With Herta Blade Xueyi and Pela (Herta and Xueyi half ass build, I had no one else who might have chip in on damage properly) So I had to pull though on 2nd half, after couple of retries I came up with following party Tingyun, RM, Himeko and General. Hypercarry Himeko didn't really worked for me, so I decided to go with general breaking shields, so Himeko really pulled though here. On account where I have Argenti on the other hand stage 4 was a breeze, took me 2 retries, DHIL worked too as usual. Good showcase. I really think that couple Erudition/Destruction characters is a way to go, so supports like Asta and RM are really good basically those who have aoe buffs. Pela on the other hand is not really good here, only shield breaking, I get it now.
I actually want to see if defeating the boss is actually possible 🗿and here you are 🙌. I don't have enough resources to level up Herta 😭(yet), and looks like Argenti makes this game mode easy mode.

I did level th em up to 70 and got their traces at to like level 5 or so because I knew that if ever a time came where they would be useful, I'd want to use them just cuz they're too effing fun, and I also want to enjoy an elation run in SU at some point.

5:55 is this a mistake or intentional? You could have used Himeko's ult at the end of her turn instead of at the beginning of Ruan Mei's turn to have Ruan Mei's buff still apply to Himeko. You also could have used himeko ult at the end of Ruan Mei's turn. Yet you chose to use Himeko ult before Ruan Mei's skill. Notably, your "big mistake" at 6:54 wouldn't have happened because svarog would have already been broken by then due to the weakness break efficiency Ruan Mei could have give Himeko at 5:55
The nice thing is people can’t complain about “Bronya is not F2P” anymore. Most people likely have her from a lost 50/50, or the standard banner selector.
If you would’ve told a theory crafter anytime from patch 1.0 to 1.5 that herta and Himeko were gonna be meta for an important game mode in the future they might’ve collapsed on their knees. On a real note I hope “those” tier list makers don’t just throw their performance aside just cause “their calculations don’t change”
what's your opinion on Himeko's break? Mine has 50% crit, 130% critdmg, 85% break, 125 SPD and 2.9k ATK. Is that enough? :D (4pc Ashblazing Grand Duke, 2pc Firmament Frontline Glamoth) I love your videos btw.
Always try to aim for almost 90% CRIT. I know my Himeko doesn't have it too but I am trying. Himeko's break is great especially if with Ruan Mei, Fire's break upfront damage has always been very high.
Don't think it's far ahead but it is still definitely ahead of Grand Duke. Grand Duke's weakness is that it keeps resetting it's ATK boost while 4pc Hunter is just permanently there on a Slow Herta.
Really depends on how you use her. If you are rotating with her, she needs decent speed. If you are fast cycling, then she doesn't need to move that much.
Pure fiction so far feels easier than MoC (as of now i can't clear moc12 at all, partially cuz i don't have DHIL or Jingliu, and only 1 limited sustain, also mid relics). But pure fiction i cleared it all first try for 68k 1 stage : Argenti e0s0 , Tingyun e3, bronya e0s1, fu xuan e1s0 2 stage: Himeko e0s1, Kafka e1s1, Ruan mei e0s1, and Fire MC with moment of victory and dps relics (cuz game trolled me with way too many def+double crit pieces, so i decided why not sp positive sub dps Fire MC?)

It's funny because, I predicted how Erudition will become meta around 5 months ago in a community post you can still see today if you dig it.
I see Herta uses Himeko's lightcone and Himeko uses JingYuan's lightcone, I know Jingyuan's kit is the problem, nothing else :)
