Thank you for making and for sharing the video. It is what it is....short and sweet. Nice track footage and congratulations on getting 3rd in the main. Good luck at the two WC races coming up over the weekend. Give it your best and try to really learn to gain actual and useable experience for use in training and in future competitions. Stay healthy and get moving fast when that gate drops down in front of you.
Hi Drew Thanks for sharing. I’m curious about your GoPro set up which seems different to other riders I watch. You shoot your footage with the electronic stabilisation turned off. Is that because you’re going for the widest possible field of view? The side effect (or maybe this is planned as well) is that it gives the viewer a better sense of speed and movement you’re actually putting into your races. The stabilisation that other riders videos normally have on seem to take away the sense of speed and the effort of getting over ramps etc I like it 👍
Hey! My GoPro has the option for no stabilization or two different levels of stabilization. I use the middle setting so it maintains a realistic view, but also stabilizes the footage decently well.
@@DrewPolkBMX Ah, I did not know the newer GoPros had those options (the last GoPro I bought was the 7 where it was all or nothing). I’m glad they’ve added those options 👍 Thanks for letting me know and good luck on your trip 👊
The pro set is huge it is so steep it looks like a Mountain😂
Good luck!! We’re rooting for you from Dallas, TX!
Thanks!
