Am I the only one who doesn’t understand why a lot of people say “She loves to talk about herself”? I mean... who else is she supposed to talk about? Isn’t it what interviews are for?
Yes, interviews are typically about the individual but you can also tell she really enjoys talking about herself. Nothings wrong with that though😂
They're just bothered by the fact, Tyra is very expressive with her thoughts and feelings.

I know SOOOO many male celebs who are praised because they are over the top and dramatic.... Not a hard core femenist, but the negativity in this comment section is so dang annoying. Tyra has always been an over the top person. She is not afraid to be who she wants to be and I think that's beautiful. Oh well, in the end she's the one who made it unlike most people here.

@@commentscrusader3842 that's not true. Most people complain about other people lives while doing nothing with their own. People are bashing her personality and her way of talking. Which is 1. So freaking immature and low; 2. Is hilarious because we praise some people for such qualities while we bring others down for it and, 3. Her personality and her way of talking is what got her through to the very top. Being "given" a big break and working hard to get where you want, are very different. Even if you get a big movie role randomly, that doesn't mean you've made it. That's only one step in your career and your life. Tyra worked and pushed herself to get where she is, and has MADE it. She is at the top of the game. I'm not there and neither are you. I'm want to be there, but it's gonna take a while. Idolising is different than admiring the fact that a black woman was able to learn to love herself and become a great business woman. I could not even know the person, but I could still appreciate their story. The only people I idolize is my family. I rarely put others on that high of a pedestal, however I also rarely put them below me either.

Just watch her talk show where she literally is so judgemental about a woman who had plastic surgery done which went wrong. Tyra is naturally beautiful so can't sit there and judge someone for their choices. Her delivery was awful and mean. Tyra's looks got her there and she realised to remain there she has to graft. Just getting there is half the battle. Anyone that high up has to work hard not just her. I don't seek fame but want to do good for a greater cause. Don't see the point in highlighting the fact she is black, she is mixed race. Regardless of her race every woman goes through struggles of self respect and love and acceptance.

I totally agree! I have enjoyed watching her since she was model. I cant believe all these negative comments like they know her like that but that sat and watched the video. Where's the love people. This show is about the individual speaking of themselves how they became who they are today. We need to be more uplifting than tearing people down. I've always adored Ms. Tyra

I don’t understand where so many of these “she’s lying” or “she’s too dramatic” comments are coming from. For many people, everything feels dramatic at the time and she was a teenager. Prime time for everything to feel like the end of the world. Plus could it be possible she gave cliff notes if she started modeling before? She could choose to tell different stories of what led her to model since it wasn’t overnight success.

She came out of nowhere. In the early to mid 90s I recall getting Victoria Secret catalogs in the mail, and was mesmerized by her beauty and she was skinny like I was back then so it was good to see someone I could relate to. At that time if I remember correctly, she was the only black diva in there. She was gorgeous then and still is.
Most of you find her overly confident, but I see her as a strong women and she knows how to overcome dumb opinions about her. She's a lot older now, but because she went through so much in her life, she already climbed to the top. She's still climbing and she's amazing. She knows it too. And that's the kind of thing women need. I want her confidence!

What's wild is that people trash Tyra for the models experience on ANTM, not realizing that the experiences she gave those girls was only a fraction of what she experienced in the industry. I see people saying "she gives me fake vibes"... This has been Tyra's personality for the ever longest, nothing fake about it.
